[ I got these for my wife. She said: I am a working mom of 7 young kids and I like to keep in shape both for my physical health as well as my mental health( and sanity!) and I need workout gear that can withstand a lot of wear and tear as well as make me feel good while wearing it. These high waisted running leggings really fit the bill! I used them around the house to get tasks done as well as for both for short( 1- 2mile) and long( 5+ mile) runs. There are both pros and cons to this model- the PROS: 1) the material is SO comfortable and has the perfect blend of stretch and compression. 2) the fabric weight is ideal for spring running- it breaths but it also holds in heat so my legs felt great for the duration of each run 3) The pockets are positioned so I could be hands free and still keep my essentials( like phone and energy gel packs) accessible during the run. 4) the waistband is thick so there is not a small single circle of pressure on my abdomen, which is an improvement from other brands I 've tried 5) there is no seam or pressure point anywhere on the tights that was uncomfortable, so I did n't experience any rubbing or discomfort for the duration of wearing them ever! There are only a couple CONS: 1) I felt they run a bit small, especially in the waist. I know they are intended for compression, but getting them on required a bit of discomfort, especially at the top of the waist- it is exceptionally small. I 'd recommend sizing up if you have a larger waist or prefer more room on the waistline. Since they are high rise, it definitely `` cuts '' into the area under your rib- cage at first and is tricky to pull up. Once I got them up, they were fine and they stayed in place perfectly, but I might size up if I buy a second pair for this reason 2) I feel they are a bit long to be considered 7/8 length( I 'm 5' 8 '' 125 lbs)- they fit more like a traditional legging, which was fine for my use but if I truly wanted 7/8 length I 'd say they are longer than that. Overall these are great leggings for running- they stay in place, keep me cool, held up to washes and wear and tear and still look new, and fit comfortably with no rubbing. I 'd definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to run!

The 5 ” length is perfect for me as it ’s long enough to not ride up my thighs when I walk/workout. I was not a huge fan of the low rise versions for coverage reasons and upon trying these on I fell in love. They have slightly more coverage, are super lightweight, beautiful colors, and they are great for strength training and running. Overall a great purchase for the spring/ summer. I ’ d recommend going a size up because they do fit slightly small but also because of the slit in the leg it would be easy to get away with going true to size if you are fine with a tighter waist band.

These are my daily go- to capris. I ordered this pair because I know my original pair will eventually wear out, although when I pulled them both out of the wash, I could not tell them apart. The knees do not even bag! My original reason for choosing this particular item was the cellphone pocket. This is a must for me. I am amazed that my phone does not cause these capris to sag, even on a cardio walk. The fabric does not wick so I do have to change after vigorous exercise but they are fine for everyday wear. These are my favourite shorts to run in. They are comfortable and do n't ride up. The pockets are wide enough to fit my phone in and it gives me confidence that my keys and phone are secure. I ran an ultra marathon( 40 miles) in these and I had no problems. I tried and tested a few brands before I found these shorts( others rub or ride up). I would definitely recommend and I 'll be buying another pair.

It is all about the pockets! I ran in these shorts for fall marathon. The longer length is nice on my 60 year old legs. The pocket in the back waistband is perfect for your phone. Sometimes Brooks run big, but these were true to size. Amble room for nutrition.

I didn ’ t have high hopes for these( tbh i never buy nike because i just assume they dont make good running gear) but the magenta color short was calling for me. I sized up to a M even though the size chart says I should be a S, but i ’ m glad i sized up. These are EXCELLENT running shorts. The waist did n't fold over, even when i was sitting down. They did n't slide down during my 4 miles run/walk. I dont think i had to adjust the legs or pull the waist up even one time. There ’s no seem at the leg opening so i had NO chafing. I have always been a 6 ” inseam bike short gal, but i will be buying more 8 ” inseam shorts because of these. I want them in more colors! I think the only downside is that the side pockets are kind of small. I have the iPhone 13 mini, and it fits, but i dont think any larger of a phone could fit. The pockets are an appropriate size for gels, energy bars, etc. but definitely not the iphone pro max lol. Overall great running short!

[ I am always skeptical of these types of shorts due to my size. These shorts however are comfortable and I can wear them all day. The fabric is breathable and the shorts do not ride up my legs. The fabric is surprisingly soft and stretchable. I will definitely wear these shorts a lot, especially when I exercise.
