The fabric of the jacket was breathable and the venting features helped keep me cool and dry. The design of this jacket is my favorite feature. It truly was made to provide protection to the person wearing it in a variety of different situations and climates. I love that I can wear it in my snowy hometown, but still take it with me on a vacation to a sunny destination. The only thing that I would consider changing on this jacket would be the adjustable features. The adjustable closures would occasionally hit me in the face while I was running.
