Every time I get up from sitting or get out of the car or off my motorcycle. I have to do the pull my pant leg down with the other foot routine. Not a big deal. Just a bit annoying. Lower warm elevations were no problem due to its breathability and high cold elevations were no problem once moving but easily fit some long John ’s underneath. The only down side is the zippered right leg pocket. It didn ’ t rain on my trip but I tested the water shedding in the shower. The zipper is a shire place for water to seep in during a downpour. Still love them though!

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

The latest style is great. They have a great form fitting stylish shape. I normally wear a 30 waist but felt the 30s were a bit snug in the thigh area, so I got a 32. They ’ re a little big in the waist but they have a draw string you can cinch down and tie. They fit great after doing that, you don ’ t need a belt.
