These are my daily go- to capris. I ordered this pair because I know my original pair will eventually wear out, although when I pulled them both out of the wash, I could not tell them apart. OK I have tried A LOT of different pants for outdoor climbing... these are hands down my# 1 favorites for warm weather. They are VERY stretchy and somehow quite durable- no tears and minimal piling after TONS of abrasive granite, limestone and tuff over the last year, and I 'm back ordering in another color. I bought these trousers more than 2 years ago. Got pregnant in the middle and only did I start wearing them since a year go. I am so impressed by how well they perform. I 've worn them in hikes, climbing, just for regular day wearing and at home. They fit me really good, so it's easy to wear them for different occasions and styles. The buckwheat color is beautiful and a nice change from typical black. They have a stretch waistband and stretch panels on the sides that helped as I was returning back from portpartum abdomen size. The knee precut space is roomie enough for hiking, but for climbing they felt a little tight, so I would n't recommend. I absolutely love the fabric for southern Spain weather, in summer they feel breathable and light, I just rolled the bottom of the legs, and in spring and autumn they feel perfect. In winter they also felt ok on milder weather days. They have a somewhat waterpellent treatment that also serves as dirt repellent that make them ideal if you work in dirty environments, the stain dries and you can brush it off. The pockets are so convenient I love using them at home to carry my phone and other essentials around comfortably. An overall great pair of trousers. Have n't tried the improved fit, but if this pair ever dies I will be repurchasing.

The older styles did n't really do much for the rear view, but Fjall is correct( improved fit) is an understatement. Great quality, and now an even better fit. The fit guide is spot on. These pants are awesome. I ordered a large and then a medium because the sizing does seem to run on the larger side. I was comfortable in both, but ultimately decided to keep the medium. I usually am a size 10, athletic build, and I am 5'10. There was just too much extra fabric in the front and hip region in the large. I have been looking for a pair of pants like this for ages and this is the perfect pant.

[ I like the fit and comfort of these pants. Since having babies I only wear high rise and find these fit without constantly falling down. They are supposed to come to your ankle but I have a large and I ’ m short so they ’ re longer on me. I find these are good for lounging around the house or being out and about doing errands. I ’ m not sure I would wear them as workout pants although I mainly wear shorts. Overall they work well for me and are a must buy in my book.

[ These pants are amazing! The material is soft and very versatile. It ’s kinda like a soft wind breaker like material. It ’s fall/winter weather in Iowa and I wasn ’ t freezing outside wearing them. I ’ ve gone for a run in these pants and I ’ ve used them for lounging around the house. They are very comfortable. The fit isn ’ t too bad. I personally thought they were a tad long but I also sized up thinking I would need more room in the butt. These pants are loose fit and would of been better off not sizing up. [ These pants are one of the most comfortable that I own. They have a nice high rise that helps hold things in place. They are roomy so you could size down if you are looking for something more fitted. They seem durable as they are a wind breaker type material that seems like it would be water resistant as well. They breath well but do make a noise when you walk due to their material type. However, a great quality about their material type is that they don ’ t wrinkle. Overall, they are super soft, comfortable and fit well. I would get them in every color!

Love the pockets. I ’ m 65 and sick of years and years and years of pants will no pockets or one tiny pocket. I can carry my phone, wallet, keys. Great for packing, too. 5/2 ” and they fit great. Although not cotton, even synthetics will shrink a little in a hot dryer, but not necessary with this pair.

PLEASE KEEPING MAKING THESE PANTS! I UNDERSTAND MOUNTAIN HARDWARE IS DISCONTINUING THIS STYLE. I love these pants. I have 4 pairs in various colors and am searching the web to get more. WHY SO GOOD( 1) Fit great. Not too loose. Not too tight. Hang well.( 2) Having the high rise waist is great; the pants stay securely in place while I move in any direction, at any speed.( 3) The horizontal zippered front pockets are an excellent style and security feature:( a) you do n't get that pocket gap pop- out that comes with non- zippered, angled pockets and( b) there's no fear that what you put in those pockets, like keys, will fall out.( 4) They are perfect for travel. Nice style, compact, easy to wash and fast to dry.

I bought a pair in XS in Choss a nice shade of brown. Beautiful fit and love the light fabric for the summer. For reference, 103lbs and 5' 3. I 'm going to hem them up a little so that they fall just above my ankles. I will be buying another pair in black soon.
