I love these leggings!!! I have walked 110 miles in these pants so far and they are perfect. They are durable, hold shape decently, are breathable, keep you warm, and keep you cool. I wish these were shirts for the summer. That butt fabric is awesome!! I sit on the ground all the time and that fabric keeps me nice and dry!! Kudos Fajllraven!!

5 Robyn S.
These tights are the perfect combination of light, breathable, and build for sweating- plus burly where you need it on the knees and butt. If I had to pick just one pair of Fjallraven tights, these would be it.

5 Michele C.
I sat on the fence for many months debating whether or not I should order these trekking tights. So happy I did! I love the fit and they are super cute on! Pockets are functional and sit in the just right place. For reference I am 5'5, weigh 130lbs and am a thin atheletic build. I ordered a size small and they fit perfect! Love the indigo blue!

5 Coco
I bought these a few days ago. These tights look amazing on and fit great. I typically wear a 26 in jeans. I purchased the XS and they fit perfectly.

5 PPerry
So happy to find something that fits me! Most of the hiking pants are too long but these fit just fine.

These were my very first Fjallraven purchase and have been my hunting/scouting pants for Colorado Elk Archery for the last 5 years! The reinforced knees and butt have been scrapped, snagged, and slid through mountains& forests and have held up incredibly well. After 250+ days in the field I finally retired then and bought another pair. Best investment ever.

I LOVE these! I have three colors and intend to buy the black pair: I wore them all day and barely noticed they were there. Incredibly comfortable, and they were not overly constricting. I am obsessed with these.

5 KayBee
I wore these on a four night trip to the backcountry. They were incredibly comfortable and I loved the zippered pocket. By the third day, I did have to pull them up a bit but the drawstring came in handy. Our trip involved multiple water crossings and I found these tights dried quickly, which was a relief once temperatures dropped. I am 5 ’ 10 ” 155lbs and purchased a medium- great fit!

[ The stitching around the knees takes a little walking around to get used to, but once you do, these were quite comfortable to use. The large pockets were very handy for stashing a phone, and the reinforced butt and knees were great.

Went hiking in the Lake District and discovered my abisko tights were too large. Fortunately, I found a Fjallraven vendor and found these tights, which turned out perfect as I need a bit more insulation. I love the feel of these. They kept me warm on some pretty brutal days. They dry quickly. I am absolutely in love with Fjallraven tights, and these are a new favorite.

5 FjällFox
I think Fjällräven really succeeded it balancing the comfortability of tights with the durability required for trekking in forests. These are a perfect combination of the two- flattering and well fitting tights that hold up to the scuffing and scratching that comes with trekking through a natural environment. They still look brand new after several washes and many many treks. The added warmth is such a nice bonus!

5 Shellbell
[ These are great outdoor/hiking leggings! They are warm and seem durable so far. I live on the Northern California coast where it ’s cold most of the year. These leggings are perfect for exploring in! Love them:)

[ Love the way these pants fit! I always love the look of Fjallraven pants, but these aren ’ t as warm as I hoped. I ’ ve used them in lower temps( 20- 30 ’s F) and my legs are cold to the touch. I definitely have less expensive rights that keep my legs warmer.

[ These leggings are so warm and fit so well! They are super cozy and kept me warm all day skiing! I love the white stitching, it makes the leggings SO flattering.

5 tarynashh
so happy with these base layers!!! what i love most is the quality, sustainable materials. they are breathable and do n't make me sweat, but keep me warm. they stay put and i do n't have to adjust at all. the contrast stitching is super cute too.

5 brynnsadventures
[ If you have a small waist but thick thighs or bum, definitely size up. I usually wear I size 4- 6 in most leggings but find in merino layers I have to size up because it's tight around my quads, these are similar. I received a size medium, which fit snuggly, but if I was going to order them again I would size up to a large. The quality of these leggings is amazing! So cozy and comfy!

5 sumho
wore these for a ski trip recently and they were very comfortable and provided good warmth with my bibs for a couple days of downhill skiing

5 jennieverhey

Additionally, consider tights with pockets for convenience and reflective elements for visibility in low-light conditions. A high waistband can also provide added comfort and support during your hikes.

To choose the right size for women's winter hiking tights, start by measuring your waist and hips to find your corresponding size on the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer. Consider the fit you prefer; some styles may offer a more snug fit for layering, while others may provide a looser, more relaxed feel. Additionally, pay attention to the fabric's stretch and recovery, as this can affect comfort and mobility during outdoor activities. Finally, read customer reviews for insights on sizing accuracy and fit preferences.

For winter hiking tights, materials that provide warmth and comfort typically include blends of synthetic fabrics and natural fibers. Look for options that incorporate moisture-wicking properties to keep you dry, as well as insulation materials like fleece or merino wool for added warmth. Stretchy fabrics are also beneficial, allowing for ease of movement during outdoor activities. Additionally, consider tights with wind-resistant or water-repellent finishes to enhance protection against the elements.

Yes, there are specific styles of women's winter hiking tights designed for various weather conditions. For colder climates, thicker materials with insulation or fleece lining can provide added warmth. In milder conditions, lightweight and breathable options may be more suitable, allowing for better moisture management. Additionally, some tights feature water-resistant or windproof properties, making them ideal for wet or windy environments.

Women's winter hiking tights are specifically designed for outdoor activities in cold weather, offering features that regular leggings typically lack. They are often made from thicker, insulating materials that provide warmth while also being moisture-wicking to keep you dry during hikes. Additionally, these tights may include reinforced areas for durability, pockets for storage, and a fit that allows for ease of movement, making them more suitable for rugged terrains and varying weather conditions.

Winter hiking tights offer several advantages over traditional pants, particularly in cold and variable weather conditions. They are typically made from materials that provide better insulation and moisture-wicking properties, helping to keep you warm and dry during outdoor activities. The snug fit of tights allows for greater freedom of movement, making them ideal for navigating challenging terrains. Additionally, many winter hiking tights feature added stretch and breathability, enhancing comfort and performance on the trail.

Yes, women's winter hiking tights can be versatile and suitable for various activities beyond hiking. Many of these tights are designed with moisture-wicking materials and stretch for comfort, making them ideal for outdoor activities like skiing, snowshoeing, or even casual wear. Their warmth and flexibility also make them a good choice for workouts at the gym or yoga sessions during colder months.

When selecting women's winter hiking tights, consider the fit to ensure comfort and mobility during outdoor activities. Look for a snug yet flexible fit that allows for layering without restricting movement. Additionally, pay attention to the waistband design, as a higher rise can provide better coverage and support. Finally, consider the length and any features like ankle zippers or adjustable cuffs that can enhance fit and functionality in varying conditions.

To ensure durability in women's winter hiking tights for long hikes, look for materials that are designed to withstand wear and tear, such as nylon or polyester blends. Reinforced seams and abrasion-resistant fabrics can enhance longevity, especially in high-friction areas. Additionally, consider tights with moisture-wicking properties to keep you comfortable and dry, as this can help maintain the integrity of the fabric over time. Finally, check for features like stretchability and breathability, which contribute to both comfort and durability during extended outdoor activities.

When layering with women's winter hiking tights, it's important to start with a moisture-wicking base layer to keep you dry and comfortable. Choose insulating layers that provide warmth without adding bulk, such as fleece or lightweight down, to wear over the tights. Additionally, consider a waterproof or windproof outer layer if you expect wet or windy conditions. Finally, ensure that your layers allow for ease of movement, so you can enjoy your hike without feeling restricted.
