I have worn these bibs snowboarding three times now and love them! I do n't have to worry about pulling my pants up or getting snow in my pants while strapping my snowboard on and it's such a relief! They are comfortable and have adjustable straps and are just all around awesome, especially for the very reasonable price! Note: they seem to fit a little on the tighter side of the size( I have a medium) so if you like baggier bibs I would suggest going up a size.

5 Jcpavo
I bought these for my daughter for snowboarding and she loves them! They keep her nice and warm so she can stay out longer and have fun.

These bibs have been great so far. They kept me dry and warm skiing and a 4 day snowmobile trip. They are lighter but windproof. I was debating between these and the more expensive Gore- Tex version but these stood up very well.

5 Michael R.
Second set of these bibs. Needed to get black so I could patrol in them. Love the extra warmth, no more sagging pants or cold butt crack, extra pockets are great, have n't tested in the rain yet. Medium are a little bit long in the legs, I 'm 5ft8in 180 with 41in chest, 34in waist and 30in inseam. I just tightened the shoulder straps. Still struggle sometimes with heavier base layers fitting under the bids without the side zip and just the buttons. That would be my only improvement on them, side zip to get heavier base layers under the bids. Still does n't change my 5 star rating

5 Cody F.
Awesome product got out in them twice so far snowboarding each time over 10 hours. I haven ’ t had a single issue with getting wet or cold. I am 6 ’ 0 ” 155lbs and went with a size medium which fits perfect. From the outside it has a bit of a baggy look but on the inside it fits comfortably with no movement restrictions. 10/10 would recommend

5 Michael M.
I just got them. Have n't had a chance to use them. The fit is good, they feel very warm. I ca n't wait to ride.

5 Ryan R.
These are on point by far and I love everything about this bib! Insulation done right and man are these warm! Fit is always great and durability is legendary with 686 too! I ’ ve rode these for two seasons in some of the coldest days in the East and they never disappoint. Worth the buy if you ’ re looking for a bib to wear on a cold day!

4 Robert V.
Even though these are marketed as the' articulated' fit, they are pretty big and baggy. Not a bad thing per se, but just something to keep in mind. They are comfortable and hella warm.

[ Employee of mountainhardwear] Outstanding quality for the price. These bibs performed perfectly during a backcountry snowmobile trip in Alaska. I stayed dry and warm all day despite the fact it's was in the single digits and lightly snowing all day. Great range of motion across the knee area and crotch, which is nice considering I 'm 6ft- 4in tall.

5 Ryan L
These are the best non Gore- Tex pants ive ever had, which is a lot. Im 6' 1 '' and the L fits well, just a little baggy, but not dragging or interfering with my bindings. The only thing i dont love is the chest velcro, a zipper would be appropriate. No lace clip on the powder cuff, no back clasp hook. Love these pants. P

5 Morgan
Really enjoyed this outer shell jacket for snowboarding in Utah. I used a different jacket underneath for insulation and warmth, worked well without it being uncomfortable. I ’ m 6 ’ 2 ” and the length and size fit just right, the sleeves aren ’ t short or pulled up when raising my arms. The neatest thing about this, and if you have the Firefall pants/bib, is that there ’s a hook inside the jacket near your tailbone. That hook attaches to a loop that ’s affixed to the pants/bib so that the jacket doesn ’ t rise up if you should fall and down the slope while skiing/snowboarding.

[ I have used these ski bibs about 6 times since purchase and have been very satisfied. My main reason was my old pants would n't keep me dry on a stormy day. The very first day they were put to a test with a mix of rain and snow. They passed with flying colors and now I am staying dry even in challenging weather. The fit is very loose.

4 PowderTowner
[ These are form fitting while being flexible. All my bibs in the past have had trash can legs and these give you enough room to layer based on temp while still being slim enough to make you feel fast and not like you have parachutes on your legs.

I 'm 5'2 and weigh around 115 and I bought a small petite. It fits perfectly w/ my ski boots on. The waist fits perfectly. I think if I sized down to an x small I would n't have enough room to layer extra if needed. Would highly recommend this bib if you 're looking for a super good quality bib. Has so many pockets and this bib does n't make you look bulky. I feel so cute and snatch in it!

5 Lauren W.
this is truly the best purchase I 've made all season, I love the way they fit and they are so comfortable!! Plus, they are SO cute!!!!

5 Adriana O.
Just got back from my first day on the slopes with these pants and loved them! Very warm and the pockets are super convenient. I 'm 5'9 '' and weight 145- initially I got a medium and they fit like a glove but I like to layer a lot so needed some extra space. That large is a bit baggier than intended but it works better for me. I had a small issue with the pants when they arrived and contacted halfdays. They got back to me immediately and offered a very generous solution.

5 carolyn m.
I am a travel agent who organizes trips to Antarctica and am always searching for the best gear to recommend clients. I got these ski pants for myself to try out on my recent expedition. They are the perfect level of warmth combined with the half day under layers. They are waterproof enough for landings and zodiacs, comfortable for hiking, and they fit great over the muck boots. Highly recommend!

5 Radford L.
Love the fit on these and they are beautifully designed. The color is more persimmon in person and looks gorgeous and fun. For looks they are a 10/10! A thin base layer was all I needed and I was very cozy all day. I did take a proper tumble today and noticed that they snagged a bit on my ski boot, and have a tiny hole, but I 'm putting that down to user error, so for function 8/10. Very happy with this purchase.

I am so satisfied with this product. I am 5'6 '' and 160 pounds, and I have a well deserved small beer gut. These bibs are so cozy, efficient, and honestly fashionable. Worth the price. We 've had an apocalyptic winter here in Tahoe, but they 've performed beyond my expectations.

5 Mountain Brad
[ Wearing the new Men's Firefall bib is so amazing, one could compare it to falling it love. But not any kind of love, we 're talking about the feeling of falling in love with steezing a mountain in some crazy pow... Or maybe.. It's just the feeling of steezing itself. These snow bibs have made me seriously begin to question why I have n't been steezing for longer. Steezing mountains, villages, cities, etc... I 'm 25 now and for the first time I feel like I can steez down an empire. I could take down Joffrey Lannister with a single swing of the ski pole. I could take out Khaleesi and her dragons with one swift snow blinding stop, I could defeat the entire Ramsay army by walking into the castle and demanding a surrender. The point is, you can do whatever you want in these bibs. Except for tinkle, tinkling is tough but what would you expect in a bib. The zipper will suffice, but be careful on cold days... you might lose it. Anyways, incredible bibs here that are going to last me quite a long time.

I 'm around 5' 4 '' athletic build and ordered a size large since they are described as `` slim fit '' and they 're perfect – fit is stretchy and not at all restrictive in movement. a little long but that's to be expected with snow pants and does n't matter given the way they fall on snowboard boots+ the liner. the straps are a little odd to figure out at first since they cross in the back, but it's easy to get used to. bonus is the zip to allow for quick and easy bathroom breaks in between runs! price point is obviously high but you get what you pay for and these will last forever if properly taken care of.

5 Bozemanmom
I 'm a long time snow professional. I bought these after an extensive search for bibs that are goretex, flexible upper, hinge seat to answer the call of nature- in nature, smart low bulk design. These fit the bill better than any AND they come in short, regular and tall inseam. I 'm in love.

5 Junebug
After being pleased with my MH shell, I decided to try these bibs and so glad I did. So far they 've been worn skiing and snowmobiling in various conditions, from 28 degrees and snowing 2 '' an hour, pouring rain, and cold dry single digit weather. The waterproofing is superior, and blocks the wind well enough. The fabric is comfortable and does n't feel constricting. I 'm 5'2 '', about 130 lbs, with pretty beefy legs and butt. The medium short is definitely roomy, which is what I wanted to allow for layering and freedom of movement. I LOVE that there are options for length. This should be standard in the industry! The leg pockets fit a phone perfectly and have stayed waterproof. The chest pockets are more for sunglasses, chapstick etc, and not a phone, but you should n't have your phone right next to your beacon anyways. The zipper works well enough for peeing. It's a pretty easy process. Overall, this bib is just a great no- nonsense product that does exactly what you need it to do: Keep you dry and comfortable.

5 Paloma
These bibs are amazing. You may think you would lose style/fit/quality with bibs, but you will be very pleasantly surprised and eager to hit the slopes and apres activities in your new bibs. There is waist/hip cinching system that you will love! They are extremely comfortable on, will not inhibit any moves and will add value to your day!! I 'm 5'6 '', 127 lbs and have them in small/ short. The length is perfect, but if you are over 5'6 '' and have long legs, go with the regular length.

4 hhmt
Finding pants in any outdoor brand is a challenge because sizing is still skewed towards more petite women. I am 5'6, 140 lb, hourglass shaped with a 32D bust, 27 '' waist and 39 '' hips and athletically built thighs. I ordered a medium tall and the 34 '' inseam is actually perfect and just hits the floor without shoes on. Pros: Built- in cinch belt around waist- this is a genius add! High front pocket allows to sit comfortably over the chest while keeping the girls secured and the straps flat over the traps Overall really comfortable pant Cons: Drop seat zipper is only on* one* side. It does not have the dual zippers I was expecting. This feature was why I ultimately went with Mountain Hardwear and I think an added zipper would make this pant 5 stars. Needs more room in the thigh/outer hip area to accommodate for layering and different body types No cinch or snap around the inner boot liner

5 Zoe878
I raved about these bibs all week on a trip to the alps! Very comfortable material for snow outerwear yet suitably waterproof. I don ’ t think the picture does them justice. They look and feel much higher quality in person. I spent 5 hours researching bibs and ultimately went with these for the relaxed fit, features, price, color, and moderate amount of insulation. I like the narrower shoulders and the thigh vents were a savior on warmer days. I like the variety of zipper, button, and Velcro pockets too. I was worried about the regular being too long because I ’ m 5 ’ 0 ” but they were perfect in ski boots! Too long for hiking unfortunately. 10/10 recommend.

4 Steph
I like the bibs much more than I liked the jacket counterpart. They are pretty waterproof and warm. I like the amount of pockets and storage options. The only thing I don ’ t love about these is the lack of insulation. These are not nearly as insulated as I would have liked them to be. For the price I would say they are definitely worth the purchase.

I really like the fit and contour of these bibs. I was looking for a burly 3L pant that is roomy enough for proper cold weather layering.( I ski at Whitefish, MT. often, so.....). These check that box nicely without being too baggy. For reference, I 'm 6'- 3 '', 210 lbs., 35 '' waist, 34 '' inseam in most pants. Purchased size Large. Lengthwise, these ride just right with my ski boots on.( Even though the size chart says 32. 9 inseam). The 3 layer `` AdvancedSkin Dry+ '' fabric is bomber, weatherproof and resembles 3L Gore Tex. The upper bib section is very stretchy with a 16 '' zipper fly. Nice quality 1. 5 '' wide suspenders contribute to comfort also. All in all, a sturdy, well- built ski bib with clean lines.>>>> Jeff

To choose the right size for snowboarding bibs, start by measuring your waist and inseam to find your corresponding size on the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer. Consider your layering preferences, as you may want a slightly looser fit to accommodate additional clothing underneath. Additionally, pay attention to the bib's adjustable features, such as straps and waistbands, which can help achieve a more customized fit. Snowboarding bibs are typically made from durable, waterproof, and breathable materials to withstand harsh weather conditions. Common fabrics include nylon and polyester, often treated with water-repellent coatings to keep you dry. Many bibs feature additional elements like reinforced seams and adjustable straps for enhanced comfort and functionality.

Insulated bibs are designed to provide additional warmth, making them a suitable choice for cold weather snowboarding. The insulation helps retain body heat while allowing for mobility and comfort during activity. Many insulated options also feature waterproof materials to keep you dry in snowy conditions. Ultimately, the choice depends on personal preference and the specific weather conditions you expect to encounter.

Men's and women's snowboarding bibs differ primarily in fit, design, and sizing. Men's bibs are typically cut wider in the shoulders and chest, while women's bibs are tailored to accommodate a more contoured shape, often featuring narrower shoulders and a more fitted waist. Both types are designed to provide comfort and mobility while snowboarding, but the specific features can vary to suit the needs of different body types.

When looking for snowboarding bibs, you can expect varying levels of waterproofing, typically measured in millimeters of water resistance. Many bibs offer a waterproof rating of at least 5,000 mm, which is suitable for light to moderate snow conditions. For more challenging weather, such as heavy snowfall or wet conditions, bibs with ratings of 10,000 mm or higher are often recommended. Additionally, features like sealed seams and water-resistant zippers can enhance overall protection against moisture.
