The Dick's employee we were directed to, a young man who loves to snowboard in our local mountains, directed us to this jacket. We are new to the sport and have n't got up to the mountains yet, but one feature we liked that would n't be apparent online or in- store, but which he showed us, is that there are side zippers that go up pretty high almost to under the armholes. He said if the sun comes out and you are just getting hot/sweaty from the exercise of snowboarding, you can unzip both side zippers( they start at the bottom hem), and it helps you vent out your warm air and cool off, without having to remove the jacket. He says he really likes that feature. He owns the same jacket in black and he loves it. I was worried because it has a non- bulky profile so I thought maybe it wo n't insulate enough, but he said the jacket keeps him nice and toasty when he's snowboarding. It looks to my eyes young and modern and cool, and my daughter looked cute in it when she tried it on. It's also pretty roomy, which is a plus if it is for a teen who is still growing. Color is a neat shade of pink that looks modern. Also, seems to be made to a very high quality. Sorry no use details.

I ’ ve worn this skiing about 5 times now. It has replaced my jacket. It has kept me plenty warm even on the day that hovered around 0 degrees with only a sweatshirt underneath. Im usually between a L and XL and the XL was too big but the L fits perfect. Very happy with the purchase.

Got this about a month ago. I was looking for a sweatshirt without a hood to layer with a jacket. The fact that this is “ waterproof ” is a bonus! I am usually in between sizes( M- L). I got a M& it fits perfectly.

This might be one of the best fleece hoodies I have ever warn. It is extremely comfortable and warm, but not to hot. It's a great layer for lounging around in or supporting you on and adventure. It works well on it's own or as a layering piece under a shell or jacket. It look nice enough to for casual things around town too.

Things that could make it better: Thumb Loops/thin stretchy material at the end of the sleeves, like they have with the first tracks down jacket. Maybe a loop or hole near the neck gaiter area to store sunglasses when not on your face( one of the drawbacks of all pieces with the neck gaiter style). The front chest pocket ripstop is kinda loud(?) when brushed against. Not a huge deal just an inference. Things I love: the warmth, it's surprisingly warm. Pair it with a waterproof shell and you should be good in most places. The fit( subjective), I am usually in between sizes and sized up- it fits exactly how I expect/want, I 'd say true to size. I actually like the small hood, also subjective, but this will stay on my head without a helmet for just wearing casually which is what I wear it for. Probably too small for wearing with a helmet if riding. And a couple really cool features that I never knew I needed: The adjustable cinch at the bottom of the piece allows you to taper/close the bottom towards the hips. One issue I have with 99% of every fleece I 've had is the fabric kinda `` floats out '' towards this hip area when wearing, and makes you look larger than you actually are. This is a great solution for that, so it makes fits quite a bit better with this cinch feature. Another is the pocket- ception, the secret stash pocket within the kangaroo pocket is a sneaky place to store small items. Who does n't love a good stash pocket? Love the print, something other than just one color. I 've been wearing it the last few days and want to wear it all the time, it's extremely comfortable. I imagine I will be grabbing this piece more often than most others in my closet this winter. Very happy with this purchase.

Really like this thing!! Great mid layer for snowboarding. Or just a nice hoody to wear around. I 'm 5'11, 160 and I went with a large- I like the more baggy fit and have longer arms so it fit how I wanted! Medium also fit me but was just a little bit smaller/ not the level of baggy I wanted.

When selecting a snowboard sweatshirt, consider features such as moisture-wicking materials that help keep you dry during active use. Look for options with insulation to provide warmth without bulk, as well as breathability to regulate body temperature. Additionally, a comfortable fit and functional design, such as a hood or pockets, can enhance your experience on the slopes. Finally, consider weather-resistant properties to protect against the elements while you ride.
To choose the right size for a snowboard sweatshirt, start by checking the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer, as sizes can vary between brands. Measure your chest, waist, and hips to find the best fit based on your body dimensions. Consider the type of fit you prefer; some may opt for a looser style for layering, while others might prefer a more fitted look. Additionally, think about the intended use, as a sweatshirt designed for snowboarding may have a different cut to accommodate movement and layering.
Snowboard sweatshirts are typically made from a variety of materials designed for warmth, comfort, and moisture management. Common fabrics include fleece, which provides insulation and softness, and technical blends that often incorporate synthetic fibers for enhanced durability and weather resistance. The main difference between a pullover and a zip-up snowboard sweatshirt lies in their design and functionality. A pullover typically features a solid front without any zippers, making it easy to slip on and off, while a zip-up sweatshirt has a front zipper that allows for adjustable ventilation and easier removal. This can be particularly useful in varying weather conditions on the slopes. Additionally, zip-up styles often provide more layering options, as they can be worn over other clothing more easily.
Many snowboard sweatshirts are designed with materials that offer some level of water resistance, making them suitable for wet conditions. Look for features such as waterproof or weatherproof fabrics that help keep you dry while you enjoy your time on the slopes. Additionally, sweatshirts with fleece linings can provide warmth and comfort, even in damp environments. However, it's important to check the specific features of each sweatshirt to ensure it meets your needs for wet weather.
Men's snowboard sweatshirts come in a variety of styles to suit different preferences and conditions. Options include hoodies with waterproof features for added protection against the elements, as well as fleece pullovers that provide warmth and comfort.
