I always run into problems with swim bottoms at the leg openings and being too snug. No matter what size I try, they always cut into the tops of my thighs while the waistband sags and it just looks incredibly unflattering. This swim skirt, while not really a traditional swim bottom, eliminates this problem. I feel a bit like I am cheating by wearing this but I also feel less self conscious. I love that the skirt does n't go out into an A- line and it hugs the body nicely to not add heft/width.

These are the underwear I consistently reach for when I travel. They are lightweight, breathable, and stay funk free. I can wash them and hang to dry at night, and they are ready to go the next day. I 've tried merino wool underwear from other brands, but these are the best, IMO- I find compared to the other brands they are more breathable, dry more quickly, and last a lot longer. I landed with these after also trying the sculpt high rise in a size larger. Overall, I ’ m reminded with both pairs that I think Valía sizing is very true to size. I think I fall somewhere between 14- 16 and the XL fit me fine. A review here mentioned the waist rolling- I can see this occurring a bit more compared to the sculpt high rise but for me it only happened at a few angles- I still prefer this bottom for my more large framed athletic build body type.
