I love these Sierra Mid Lace Waterproof Boots so much I purchased a second pair. They are so comfortable and great for walking/hiking long distances in any kind of weather. This season they are the only boots I 've consistently worn every day for play and work. The added bonus is they are nice looking and extremely durable. The North Face Women's Sierra Mid boots were well made and stylish. I read other reviews that suggested going up a size. I usually wear a 9 or 9. 5 in winter boots, so I purchased sizes 9. 5 and 10. I bought these boots for a long weekend trip to Providence, RI and Boston, MA. I wore them with thick wool socks and logged more than 5 miles each day running around the sights. They weee comfortable and warm. The temps dropped to 19 degrees with strong winds and even rain and my feet were dry and warm the whole time. I am very easily cold and uncomfortable- even in my home state of SC! I am grateful for these boots so my weekend was not ruined by having cold feet!

These are comfortable and can be slipped into without re- doing the laces which is a big plus for me. I bought these because they have a roll over the top winterized bottom. My last boots had the sole meeting the upper right at the bottom edge& that is where it blew out. Hoping that these last a long time like my last pair with the higher rubber section. True that they run small, I wear size 8. 5, bought boots in a size 10, fit perfectly.

I was very satisfied with its performance. I used it in Norway, and it was completely waterproof. However, since there is a small gap at the top, I ’ d recommend wearing waterproof trousers over it to prevent water from getting in. Also, I suggest ordering one size up. I went half a size up, which was fine, but it felt a bit tight with thick winter socks. That said, the boots are already very warm on their own. I only needed extra layers because I was in- 6°C weather.
