I ’ ve spent my entire life buying cheap swim shorts and being totally content. I was on the fence with these being like$ 60 or whatever but hot dang they are comfortable. I still think it ’s crazy that shorts to wear in a pool are so much money but that ’s life baby. They ’ re worth it. Super comfy, they dry up pretty well too without going crazy with a towel too which is convenient if you need to pack them away or sit on something you don ’ t want to get soaking wet. I float between a 32- 33 ” waist and got the mediums and they fit really well.

This is the second version of this suit I purchased. The first one does n't have sleeves. I originally bought it to add warmth to my lap swim because I get cold easily. It worked for that, and I am happy with the other features: fits well, wears well so far. I am 67 so would prefer to have more of my fanny covered, but I wear another suit under it. I was a bit disappointed that the sleeves are not lined with the same fabric as the body, but they will help with sun exposure. With a dive into a pool, the top stayed in place and I didn ’ t have to worry about movement out of place lap after lap. A quick dip in the hot tub just proved how cute and stylish the suit was, keeping me comfortable with trips in and out of the water. The real test came with water sports. This suit held its own. It held its shape on top and on the bottom- without the usual wedgie a wakeboarding sesh causes. They wear well and stay put! I surfed and snorkled on the beaches and also sailed for a few days( lots of movements in lots of directions) and the top stayed put, I had no fear whatsoever. [ Let me start off by saying I really loved these in every way. Style wise they were classic. Looked almost like a sneaker box in color with similar lettering down the side. The cut off Nike Swoosh was a cool feature. The color was vibrant but not too bright. Fit- wise these were perfect for a day at the beach. They came right above the knee. Very comfortable. I was able to go from swimming to beach volleyball with the same fit. The inner lining was sewn directly to the inside of the shorts. It made for a more comfortable feel than regular old school bathing suits with the annoying tight netting. This definitely felt more comfortable. It really enhanced my ability to swim and provided great give for jumping and lunging while playing volleyball. My team won and I give all the credit to these amazing shorts. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable stylish fit this summer.

[ These shorts are great for the beach or lounging by the pool. I would not consider them performance apparel as it seems like they were designed for casual use. Some of the casual features include the side pockets and a more relaxed fit. The elastic waistband and drawstring do allow for a tight fit along the waist to make sure they stay on while swimming. The material is on the thinner side and dries quickly. The shorts were very comfortable even though the material feels scratchy initially by the end of the wear I had completely forgotten about them. There is no interior mesh lining so you may consider wearing a pair of compression shorts underneath if you prefer that snug fit. Overall they are a great pair of swim shorts but I would not recommend them for competitive swimming. They will be a go to pair in my beach/pool rotation this summer.
