This is my first real `` swimming '' suit. I have always worn tankinis, but they have been getting trashed by twice- a- week lap swimming. I never would have thought that I would buy and wear a one piece swimsuit as a 55 yr old woman--- far too revealing. However, I really like this swimsuit! It will feel very snug, but it has held up quite well to the chlorine and wringing out. I 've been using it twice a week for several months, and it appears almost new. You MUST order two sizes up. So, if you are normally an 8, you need to buy a 12. And it will still feel very snug. I like how the legs are n't too high, and the lycra does n't give out( sag) in the behind. They wear well and stay put! I surfed and snorkled on the beaches and also sailed for a few days( lots of movements in lots of directions) and the top stayed put, I had no fear whatsoever. It was supportive as well( not enough to RUN, but enough to move around and not be in pain later). The material is also nice. Not the `` shiny '' material, a bit dull, which is fine for me!

I haven ’ t been able to utilize yet in the winter but the elastic waist is much stronger than LL Bean ’s supplex shorts since they went to China for production, and at lesser cost..
