I have the patina green in medium size. I go on day hikes at least twice weekly and have this shirt keeps me as comfortable as possible even in 30° Celsius weather. This shirt stays dry as I sweat during my hike. If the weather starts to cool it is easy to put a fleece layer over this one. Lastly, I do n't put this in the dryer after washing as it can become completely dry in an less than an hour in my house where the A/C temperature is set to 20° Celsius. Overall I really like it and I will get a second pair to use when I do the Salkantay Trail in the near future.

I hunt, fish, shoot prs matches, do yard work, and eat dinner out in this thing. I live in AZ and sun protection is a must. Everyone 2- 3 of these. I 've used them heavily for 3 years and they are just starting to look worn. That's pretty fair, other shirts do n't get that far.

My new favorite top for cool spring mornings or roll up the sleeves for hot afternoons. I have gotten so many compliments too from strangers. I purchased the white titanium one with the nifty pattern. I was worried about the buttons but I just leave the cuffs unbuttoned so it is easy to roll them up when in a hurry. Not sure what all the griping about snap buttons is about, especially with a fabric so light. I 've pulled snaps out on technical fabric like this, which sucks more than the inconvenience of making sure a button is pushed through. This review is left on first impressions, so I have n't tested it in hot or sunny conditions yet. Based on my first impressions, I would n't hesitate to wear this regardless of what activities I have planned for the day. Golfing, biking, hiking or hanging out at the beach, you 'll look good doing it although you 'll probably need a new one after a crash.

I got this because I was looking for a lightweight long sleeve outdoor button up. This did not disappoint! It's so smooth, and cooling against your skin, and very lightweight! The fabric is really high quality and I find very flattering for my shape. Also, it's really a nice shirt so you can wear it indoors for other occasions. I have 2- I black that I 've put through the dryer, the other I 've hung dry. The one going through the dryer has got the pills( like others have mentioned). For me, they 've been indestructible. Expensive but the cost/benefit has been worth it. I 'm surprised that others have worn theirs thin- I use mine in the bush constantly and have been anything but gentle on them.

The Freewheel Short Sleeve Jersey is more like a daily driver shirt over a traditional jersey. You can wear it daily for day to day tasks then hit the trail after work. The material is similar to other Outdoor Research shirts in the 2024 clothing catalog. I took the shirt for weekly rides on local trail heads in MD in spring and on the Santos Trails in FL on a work trip. The stretch is nice when you catch a sticker bush and length is nice if you have a long torso. The only con in my opinion is that a bring color would be nice for hunting seasons. I currently have the blue shirt and it looks good.

Amazing shirt and a go- to for me, especially for personal travel. Material has a linen type feel but does not wrinkle and holds its shape much better than linen- more durable. Also not scratchy on the skin like some cheaper alternatives. Great for a hot day, almost in replace of a broken in Hawaiian shirt but nice enough to wear out to dinner, etc. I own it in both the Sand Stone tan and the Green colors. Periodically check to see if Fjallraven has released a light sky blue, which to me would be the best color… please make one Fjallraven! I ’ d buy two;)

I wore it for a beach day this past weekend when I wasn ’ t on the water, am thinking of how I can dress it up for a casual summer wedding next month, and won ’ t leave on any summer trips/vacations without them. I usually like a slimmer fit, but this is a perfect relaxed fit. I ’ m not swimming in the material, but it ’s also very airy and comfortable, and just fitted enough to look really nice. I can ’ t thank Fjallraven enough for carrying size xs in men ’s!! If I had to pick a gripe with the shirt it ’s that it doesn ’ t have 100% full mobility when completely lifting your arms out and above your head, but I also know that ’s not what this shirt is intended for. Terrific product and a fair price for how exceptional it is.
