I bought these in white in XL and then in black in L. I like pants loose at the waist and need a long rise. I also got the short length, which sit at my instep( 5' 4 ''). The black ones in the L fit better as to the rise and volume of the legs, but I prefer the looser waist on the XL. I wish designers would give up the hourglass myth of women's bodies: If one needs a L for the hips, one probably does not have a 32 '' waist. The drawstring makes these wearable. Both are comfortable, though, and very light. So I will probably wear the black ones out more, and keep wearing the white ones around the house. Very comfortable style and fabric. I find myself wearing these most days in the Florida warm temps. Very nicely made, as well. I marked `` runs small '' because the elastic at the waist, IMO, should be about 2 inches larger. Very glad to have found this brand. CALIA.

I think this runs true to size, I ordered long torso. The breast support is oddly low. The seam is way past were the ladies lay and mine have nursed 2 babies and hang low. I got the stripped suit and it does not appear see through( however I have n't gotten it wet yet) the stripes do n't line up on the seams which seems to be a quality concern. I would suggest sizing down, based on the size chart I needed a 2X, but I tried on the XL in store and they have PLENTY of room. I told them, but said, don ’ t get too excited because the color selection is poor. Sadly, colors are same as when I bought mine. Many tourists were wearing various bucket hats- they are clearly popular. Sunday Afternoon should come out with many colors!
