I bought these in white in XL and then in black in L. I like pants loose at the waist and need a long rise. I also got the short length, which sit at my instep( 5' 4 ''). The black ones in the L fit better as to the rise and volume of the legs, but I prefer the looser waist on the XL. I wish designers would give up the hourglass myth of women's bodies: If one needs a L for the hips, one probably does not have a 32 '' waist. The drawstring makes these wearable. Both are comfortable, though, and very light. So I will probably wear the black ones out more, and keep wearing the white ones around the house. Very comfortable style and fabric. I find myself wearing these most days in the Florida warm temps. Very nicely made, as well. I marked `` runs small '' because the elastic at the waist, IMO, should be about 2 inches larger. Very glad to have found this brand. CALIA.

Very comfortable and the fabric is very luxurious and doesn ’ t wrinkle. It is a heavier weight pant so good for cooler weather. The waist is a bit high for me but it ’s manageable. I love the way this fits and looks on me. Casual and comfy, not sloppy like some other relaxed clothing styles. The patch on the back of the pants was sewed on at an angle- which bothered me but didn ’ t affect quality.
