Excellent for winter to cut the wind and retain heat. Had multiple deer come within 30 yds and jacket noise did not alert them. Used as a top layer with layering( and heated vest, socks, and gloves all on lowest setting) during a 12( F) degree morning, never got cold and didn ’ t feel the wind. It does not have pockets, which helps with retaining heat and one less thing to leak down the road, but I use a small pack to carry in. I do suggest breaking it in a bit. Hope this helps, y ’ all stay dry and warm out there.

The hood and extended visor prevented all rain from getting to my face and hair. They were great because they were light weight and easy to pack. In terms of water protection they were as good as any of the previous ones they have used. I have POTS, and these compression shorts work great under jeans or sweatpants. The short inseam means I can also wear them under shorts or dresses, and they 're thin enough that they do n't feel bulky.
