You don ’ t realize how much you need a heated base layer until you have one! It ’s been such a benefit to various aspects of my life. I wear it beneath my layers when spending time outdoors during winter in Wisconsin. But I ’ ve also worn it to work( in an office) during especially cold days. It fits true to size and is comfy. I have 2- I black that I 've put through the dryer, the other I 've hung dry. The one going through the dryer has got the pills( like others have mentioned). For me, they 've been indestructible. Expensive but the cost/benefit has been worth it. I 'm surprised that others have worn theirs thin- I use mine in the bush constantly and have been anything but gentle on them.
