Love this vest. It's my 3 rd one because I wear them almost every day from October through May here in Maine. I get about 2 years out of them. I initially bought an XL and it was just too boxy. I easily returned it for a size L and it fits my figure well. I am 5' 4 '' and it sits just above my knees. The material is a bit wrinkled from packaging but I think it will smooth out. I have had these boots for 5 years. Humping through the snowy mountains of Vermont on the job. Taking them off and on tens of thousands of times in customers homes. They have gone under many houses, crawlspaces, and under porches. In knee walls and trenches. Put away so wet that my socks were soaked the next morning( step in knee high snow and any boot is gon na get wet). I 've only had to change the laces on one boot. All I ask is that my boots hold up to the abuse I put them through. I wore them untied during the summer even, and the backside of the inner heel has just started to wear through. Only on one side again! They are waterproof, durable, comfortable and dang if they do n't look good. I have n't even looked to buy a new boot since I got these and thank goodness I had n't rubbed off the tag yet. I hope they 're just as good 5 years later. I needed a fully waterproof jacket that was lightweight and gave lots of coverage for long dog walks. This is a good one which goes to mid thigh on me( 5' 2 '') with the rounded swoop in the back that looks a bit stylish. I have to start off and say I really appreciate the quality that goes into these bibs, there have been numerous improvements and upgrades to the older design. They have a relief cut into the pocket to hang a tape measure on either side. The front of the bib pockets are much more usable now, especially with the large zip pocket. Great jacket, not thick and bulky but sturdy, ca n't wait to break it in. I 'm 5' 7 '' 130 lbs and ordered a small, was n't sure how it would fit since I would normally go for a medium in jackets, but saw this was loose fit and have heard Carhartt run large. The sleeves of the small were good but I was absolutely drowning in the rest of it so got an extra small, and it was a much better fit! When I tried it on with a sweatshirt underneath, the sleeves of the extra small were a touch tight when bending my elbows, but I think it will break in just fine. Great jacket, hope this can help folks with sizing. Did n't have any trouble with the zipper the way other people have described, it's a big metal double zipper and takes a little effort but nothing crazy.

Packs a lot of warmth for not being baggy and hugs tighter to the leg without being constricting or feeling like running tights, this allows you to layer thermals underneath it for the really cold runs. This jacket is more than I could have hoped for. I operate a snowplow at a ski resort at night during storms clearing parking lots. When I get out of the tractor into what is frequently a howling blizzard, this keeps me warm, sealed and protected. It's loose enough that I can wear layers underneath if it's really cold and the whole thing is lined with nylon so there is no binding at all. The hood and zipper come up to just the right place on my chin to be functional without hindering. And when it's wet snow or rain, it runs right off and I stay dry. Amazingly comfortable. There is nothing about this jacket that I do n't like. Bravo Carhartt!

Needs to be longer in back. Even all the way around like your non insulated rain defender zip up hoods. PLEASE! They ride up in the back and always pulling it down. Other than that it's great!!

I ordered a women's medium short bib. I am 5 foot 3 and about 145 pounds. This size and leg length were perfect for me. I liked having a bib because it helped keep snow out of my pants when falling. Also the pockets were the best part, I was able to hide snacks, phone, and wallet in the bib when skiing.

I like the fit, it's flattering. The material is high quality. It is waterproof. But I do n't think it's windproof. In- 5C my legs felt very cold. Not warmest.

I used the snow bib for snowboarding and it kept me warm! It's comfortable and fit very well, I ordered an S Short, I 'm about 5' 2 and about 120- 125 lbs. I was also able to comfortably layer under it at the top and bottom. It's well made with high quality materials.

I found a brand new pair of these in black at my local Goodwill today for$ 6. 99. I love them! They are an xs and they fit perfect over my leggings! I would suggest sizing down one size. I tried them on and didn ’ t want to take them off they are SO Warm!!
