I ’ m new to MTB and wanted some shorts, different than what I would wear on the road. Two pieces, allows you to swap the inner padded shorts with another. I ’ m 6 ’ 180 and the medium is slightly larger than I expected. Sizing appears accurate.

I purchased shorts about a month ago. they wear well and feel good on my bike.

Typically I have to size up for all things OR, but this one I probably could have stayed with a size medium, but the large is still comfortable and does n't feel overly

Great shirt for riding in cooler weather. I used these recently on a cold weather ride and it worked great given the conditions. Kept me warm enough while being comfortable for the ride. Would recommend this to other riders- beginner or advanced.

Fit is great, fabric quality is also very nice and light feeling. Very high quality riding shirt. Have n't had a chance to test the longevity/durability yet. Wrong season here to test it out on its own( we are in winter).

Fits true to size, I 'm 6'2 '' 185, size large fits perfect. The material is comfortable, breathes well, and is durable so far. I used to be a short sleeve purist on my rides, but this material is breathable enough that I do n't get hot wearing it on sunny days. Plus the long sleeves protect my arms from the sun and branches along narrow trails. The only disadvantage is it `` holds the stink '' but that is typical for synthetic materials.

[ These are by fay the best mountain bike shorts I have ever purchased. I will be getting a couple more pair of these shorts. They fit perfectly without being too baggy and do not get hung up on the seat when riding.

Bill
[ I have worn these shorts now for a couple of weeks and they are amazing. Then you can take the liner out and wear them around like normal shorts.

[ I have a couple of Zoic ether pants but this is the first 9 '' that I purchased and me being a vertically challenged person, I really enjoyed the shorter length

[ Good fit, lots of zip pockets. Quality is good. The light colors seems to stain a bit when you get oil or grease on them but other than that good.

I use these for mountain biking and I 'd recommend them for rides 40°F and under. ... Warm and well- padded! ... [ These cycling tights do exactly what they 're supposed to

Meeshmo
[ These cycling tights do exactly what they 're supposed to do. The sizing may run a touch small so you may need to size up if you 're on the cusp of sizing. I 'm 5'2 '' 125 pounds and the small is a tiny bit more snug than I 'd like but they may stretch out over time. I use these for mountain biking and I 'd recommend them for rides 40°F and under. Great quality!

[ Speaking as someone who works with fabric, the pattern on these shorts do n't allow as much freedom of movement as their 2018 model but I 'm still grateful that quality shorts exist for slender riders with long inseams. I miss the drawstring waistbands but this will do.

Jimbo
[ Fit is good( large for 34 '' waist). Chamois is very confortable. I 'm 6'4 '' and could use a bit longer inseam- think the older model was a bit longer. The color bleeds a bit when washing so wash separately initially.
When choosing large cycling clothing, consider the fit and comfort to ensure ease of movement during rides. Look for materials that offer breathability and moisture-wicking properties to keep you dry and comfortable. Additionally, pay attention to the style and features, such as pockets or adjustable elements, that may enhance your cycling experience. Lastly, consider the climate and terrain you will be riding in, as this can influence the type of clothing that will best suit your needs.
When selecting large cycling clothing, look for materials that offer breathability, moisture-wicking properties, and stretch for comfort. Fabrics like polyester and nylon are commonly used, as they help keep you dry and allow for ease of movement. Additionally, some garments may incorporate spandex for added flexibility, which is beneficial during rides. Choosing the right materials can enhance your overall cycling experience by providing comfort and support.
Large cycling clothing typically offers a roomier fit compared to standard sizes, accommodating a broader range of body shapes and sizes. This can include adjustments in the waist, hips, and overall length to ensure comfort during rides. Additionally, large cycling apparel may feature more relaxed cuts, allowing for greater freedom of movement while cycling. Many designs also consider layering options, providing enough space for base layers or additional gear.
When selecting large cycling clothing for comfort, consider features such as moisture-wicking fabrics that help keep you dry during rides. Look for items with a relaxed fit to allow for ease of movement and breathability, especially in warmer conditions. Padding in shorts can enhance comfort on longer rides, while adjustable elements like waistbands or cuffs can provide a better fit. Additionally, reflective details can improve visibility for safety during low-light conditions.
Yes, large cycling clothing can be versatile and suitable for various types of cycling activities. Many styles are designed to accommodate different riding conditions, whether for mountain biking, road cycling, or casual rides. The materials used often provide comfort and breathability, making them adaptable for both performance and leisure cycling. Additionally, features like pockets and adjustable fits enhance their functionality across different cycling environments.
Wearing large cycling clothing during long rides can enhance comfort by providing a looser fit that allows for better airflow and freedom of movement. This can help reduce chafing and irritation, which is especially important during extended periods in the saddle. Additionally, larger sizes can accommodate layering for varying weather conditions, ensuring that cyclists remain comfortable throughout their ride. Overall, choosing the right fit can contribute to a more enjoyable cycling experience.
To determine the right size for large cycling clothing, start by measuring your body dimensions, focusing on your chest, waist, and hips. Compare these measurements to the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer, as sizing can vary between brands. Additionally, consider the fit you prefer, whether it's a loose or more fitted style, as this can influence your size choice. Trying on different styles can also help you find the most comfortable fit for your cycling needs.
Large cycling clothing comes in various styles designed to accommodate different weather conditions. For warmer weather, you can find lightweight shorts and breathable jerseys that promote airflow and moisture-wicking properties. In cooler conditions, long-sleeve jerseys and insulated jackets provide added warmth, while baggy shorts can offer comfort and flexibility. Additionally, options with water-resistant materials are available for wet weather, ensuring you stay dry while cycling.
The durability of large cycling clothing is generally comparable to that of regular sizes, as both are often made from similar high-quality materials designed to withstand the rigors of cycling. The construction techniques and fabric choices used in large sizes typically mirror those found in standard sizes, ensuring that they can endure wear and tear during rides. Additionally, many brands focus on creating durable products across all sizes to meet the needs of cyclists, regardless of their body type. Therefore, cyclists can expect reliable performance and longevity from large cycling clothing just as they would from regular sizes.
To maintain the quality of large cycling clothing, it is important to follow specific care instructions. Always check the care label for guidance, as materials may vary. Generally, it is advisable to wash cycling apparel in cold water on a gentle cycle and avoid using fabric softeners, which can affect moisture-wicking properties. Air drying is often recommended to prevent shrinkage and preserve the fit and elasticity of the garments.
