I did n't know they made a grey one!! Sweet I 'll be buying one soon. I love this product. I wear a petzl strato helmet for tree work, and a Stihl Advance for ground work. The strato is a buckled bike style safety helmet and Stihl is a hard hat type helmet. The `` ninja' mask as I call works with both helmets. I also wear it under my baseball hats. This is my favorite winter work accessory. It makes those freezing cold mornings not suck so much. One of the best features is that it quickly dries. I throw mine on my dash and after a ten minute trip to a different job site it's dry and ready to wear again.

I am a redhead and these do the best job of protecting my neck, scalp, and face of any hat I have owned. I also love the folding brim so it can go in a pocket. I got this hat because the brim is slightly smaller than my full on sun hat, so it ’s not as awkward to wear in the car or indoors, but still provides a good amount of sun protection. I got the goldenrod color, and it ’s a little darker in person, but still a cool color. It does seem to run a little small compared to my other hats of the same size, so if you ’ re in between sizes, probably best to size up. Oh, and the sunglasses holder is awesome! After having them in a couple of sun hats, I would never want to buy one without.

I have been looking for the perfect visor for several years after my favorite was discontinued. Most of the ones with wider brims were just too big and made me look silly. I have a very small face. And you take off in the wind like the flying nun. These visors are the perfect length for keeping the sun out of your eyes. I love the lightness; however, I ’ m not sure how they will fair in strong winds. I also wish they had more colors to choose from. I like the light gray, however, it didn ’ t allow me to tighten it enough; The light purple was easier to tighten to my needs. Bought this one to replace old one that was blue and has traveled around the world with me. Love how light and compact it can be when not wearing it and how you can expand it for wearing to keep sun off your face and neck. Only reason I have to replace old one after 12+ years is because of the metal in the outer part finally snapped in few spots. So outer part does not hold shape as well especially in wind. Mind you I washed it with similar color clothes probably once or wove a year( which might not have been recommended) and would fold it over twice to fit in top of back back on travel days in airports and buses. I ’ m just happy I still had tag on old hat to find company to buy this new one. The old one I will still wear around house doing yard work. I obtained my hat in a bit different way, it washed up on our beach. Someone on a boat is missing it greatly. I had been wearing Tiiley hats but I like this one much better. The brim is stiffer which is a great benefit out sailing on breezy days. The adjustable band allows fitting the hat perfectly. The narrower venting along the top keeps it cool while keeping the sun out. And the material holds up very well.
