The Velcro strap in the back has held up well so far to being in the water. The logo on the front is small, which was one of the reasons I purchased this hat. Many of the others have large logos; I appreciate that this one is subtle. The are small holes on the top back of the hat that allow my head to stay cool. I have no real skin problems compared to my golf friends who wear caps. That was n't the reason I originally wore the hat but it is now. Tip you can dunk the hat in a sink to clean it and then wear on a hot day.

It is reinforced on the edges, wider than any other straw hat, and the entire underside of the brim is reinforced. However, you 'll have to break it in. It is a tight fit at first.
