This is a great hat for any who spend a lot of time in the sun. So much cooler than most ball cap style hats. Much better air flow and space for your head to breath. I read conflicting reviews on how waterproof it is. I plan to use for long hime in Portugal later this month. If I encounter torrential downpours, I will also have a waterproof hood to wear over top.
