However I am often required to work outside when it is heavily misting, snowing and sleeting. I have a number of shirts and jackets with a sherpa lining. Like the other reviewers I was skeptical about how thin the material was. However, after wearing it snowboarding and Nordic skiing as a mid layer, it is awesome. The only downside I can tell is that the thumb holes are aligned in a way that sort of twists the sleeves. Also the seam line across the chest can be a little annoying to feel. I love this sweatshirt. It fits perfectly, and is soft and comfortable to wear. Looks awesome with wide leg joggers, or shorts. I purchased it in black, and also in sail white, as they match to so many things I own. If more colors become available in this style, I would not hesitate to buy again.
