Yes, I use them for everyday wear as well as for the sport I play which is Lawn Bowls. The side pocket is great for holding everything from my lip balm to my measure for bowls. The only thing I find that is not so good is the stitching along the bottom of front pockets had to be resewn as this just does n't seem to hold. Other than that This is a great pair of shorts.

These are ok. Run very small. The 10/12 was tight on an 80 lb boy. The inner liner is a bit scratchy. But the kid likes that they do n't look like young kids wear so we 'll return the 10/12 for a 14/16.
