My hands always go numb from the cold below 15 degrees. I ’ ve tried top tier mittens and wool liners to no avail. With these mittens I skied all day at 10 degrees and two breaks and kept my hands warm. I used medium and low settings most of the time and still had half the battery left at the end of the day. They especially shined when it came to winter sports because any contact with the snow would previously give me wet, cold hands. There is no such thing with these with the combination of GoreTex and with the cuffs going up so high on my arm and being adjustable, wet hands and arms are a thing of the past. There are a number of handy features as well with finger holds on the outside of ring fingers make the gloves easy to remove even while gloved. The retention cuffs do their job well. I would recommend these for someone looking for a nice pair of gloves that wants to keep their hands warm and dry. They outperform everything else at their price point.

Used these gloves for 1 day between 14 and 28 deg F with windgusts and snow machines on making icy and windy conditions for a much lower feels like temp. First off, the GoreTex in these gloves holds up to its reputation, the ice/snow from the snow machines stuck to everything and ev eventually would melt but my gloves on the inside didnt feel wet at all even once. Wore these without the liner and they are comfortable, but not that warm. My hands were cold but not super uncomfortably cold by lunch without the liner in. Put the liner in after going back out and it made a world of difference. My hands stayed warm the rest of the day even after the sun went down and temperature dropped significantly. After a full day of use on the slopes carrying ski poles most of the time, there is no sign of any use on these gloves and i am hopeful they keep holding up for me. They were fairly expensive at full price, but seem to be worth it so far.

Easy on and off and if you want to tighten them up they have an excellent cuff velcro. Wear them under my jacket cuffs and kept all the snow out. It will definitely keep snow out, and the Velcro patch is large. One important note on sizing: these are sized as “ unisex ”, not Men ’s or Women ’s. This means the Large size I ordered is a bit smaller than a Men ’s Large, and possibly bigger than a Women ’s Large. I have ordered other models of OR gloves in Men ’s Large, but these are a little tight on me. I probably would have been better off with an XL, but I bought them on an “ All Sales Final ” promo deal so I will have to stick with the L and hope they break in and stretch out a bit.

The Team gloves are the nicest 3 finger glove I 've owned. The overall build is top notch with a super soft and comfortable inner liner. The index finger( which can still get cold on 3 finger) seems to have more insulation around it. The reinforced palm is a nice feature. The leather just looks and feels to be a notch above other brands. I also like that OR included the leash. I would recommend ordering the size you typically wear. I normally wear size large and these fit perfectly in large.

Highly highly recommend these gloves, especially if you have a toddler, kids gloves are always so hard to get on them and get their fingers in the right hole and make sure it ’s on properly and stays on throughout the outside process. The Patrol gloves feel like a toned down version of the Guide gloves that I 've used extensively. The biggest difference is the shorter gauntlet and the insulation only covering the palm, where the insulated inner runs down over the wrist into the gauntlet on the Guides. Because of those differences the mobility is a bit better with the Patrol, they 're a less bulky/more packable and are n't quite as warm as the Guides.

I thought they would be good based on the specs- solid amount of synthetic insulation, durable palms. They exceeded what I hoped due to the hi pile inner lining. Had them bushwhacking/ breaking up deep snow this winter on some ADK high peaks and even when I had to squeeze out my glove liners from the snow dumping off everything and getting everywhere the pile lining does not collapse/wet out and allowed me to keep hands warm/ evaporate some of that wet. The outers were frozen due to all the water, and I was still fine. So they get major points for damp/icy/cold NE winters because they deal well with the constant moisture. Used them on several overnights as well and they were still functional handling a couple days of it. Can sleep with the removable liners on overnight to dry if needed. Palms have held up to various spruce/fir scrub swimming, some ice ax use, and clawing through deep snow. Seems pretty good.

Absolutely love these gloves for mahy reasons. Firstly, the glove has an amazing fit. While it is easy to get on with the straps to help it is a snug fit that allows me to manouever very well with them. Additionally, the gloves are not so big and padded that I ca n't do much with my hands, however, they still keep my hands warm. My only complaint would be that it is really difficult to use my phone despite the fingertip specifically meant for using the phone. Would highly recommend these gloves.

I have the black pair and have used them twice. I 'm a truck driver that pulls tankers and I have to unload the tanker myself so that means pulling hoses and standing outside with the truck trailer for 2 to 4 hours. So far the coldest it's been but I 've unloaded it's about 13 ° and they have done really well so far. The thumb and index finger probably get the warmest, but overall the whole hand is pretty warm. It's very important. I think to turn them on in the truck first and let him get warm then go outside with them and they maintain very well. I bought these for a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park in March( temps 10- 40 degrees, snowy). They kept my hands warm and dry! Even after my hands were cold and starting to tingle, putting on the mittens warmed them up to a normal temperature. Love the wrist straps and extra little loop that helps you pull them on.

Love these gloves. I recently wore them for a weekend skiing in Vermont and they were great. I love the longer length and loops to keep them in place so I do n't worry about dropping them on the chair lift if I take them off to get something out of my pocket. Kept me warm with hot hands warmers for hours in 10 degree weather skiing. Definitely recommend

I use these to snowboard and they 're sooo warm. I take them off and let them hang from the wrist when I 'm waiting for/on the lift. I wear wrist guards and was in between L and XL. On the wrist, the width felt like the same size but the XL felt longer in the fingers area
