I grabbed a pair of these biker shorts from Dick ’s Sporting Goods on a whim and honestly — I ’ m so glad I did. They ’ re super comfortable, flattering, and stay in place whether I ’ m walking, working out, or just running errands. The fabric is soft but has just the right amount of compression without feeling too tight. I also love that they ’ re not see- through( a huge win 🙌), and the high waist gives great support. I ’ ve purchased other brands and would have to wear double the shorts just so that I didn ’ t have to worry about everyone seeing my under garments. These don ’ t ride up so I ’ m not pulling them down every 5 seconds and they are comfy around the waist band. That ’s also a big factor in my shorts. I would say though I kinda wish it did have a pocket on the side for my phone for running. But I can always make up for it with a cross body bag. Because of this you do want to make sure you have the right underwear on( no VPL) but that is what you would expect from a legging- style short. [ Wow! Just ran 2 miles in these can honestly say I ’ m very pleased. I typically would never run in shorts due to chaffing but thought I would give these a try since they were advertised as sweat wicking. The shorts did not disappoint. During the run I did sweat quite a bit as you can see from armpits in pic and the shorts did not get wet one bit. I wore a size 0x and at first try on thought they were a big loser than I would like, but that loser fit played into comfortability. During my run I was extremely comfortable, did not have to tug on bottoms to pull them down or adjust fitting. They also have built in underwear, which is a plus. This is a piece you want regret, if your active, they perform exactly has advertised and if your looking to run errands comfortably you will still be stylish.

[ The first thing I noticed about these shorts are how light weight the fabric is. They fit true to size and I love the wide waist band. I am plus size and these are the best fitting loose athletic shorts j have found. The fabric feels super light, perfect for workouts or wearing out and about on hot days. My only complaint about these shorts is that the pockets are not big enough to hold my cell phone securely. It hangs out and falls out easily. That being said these are still my go to shorts.

For reference: I am 5 ’ 5 ” 145lbs, thin athletic build wearing a small. I have wide hips and muscular thighs with a small waist, so finding shorts that fit is difficult. This summer, I set out to find better shorts for my body type and tried on basically every short style from every major brand. I like Lululemon ’s Track That 3 ” shorts, but the colors are limited. These shorts are my absolute favorite! They are flowy enough in the legs that they don ’ t ride up or chafe during long runs, and they are comfortable enough for everyday wear/lifting. As a bonus, they are reasonably priced! I scored several pairs on clearance and will come back looking for more colors as they release!
