These are my everyday shorts, gym shorts, walking shorts, house shorts, errand shorts, etc. They fit perfect on my waist and have enough coverage that they are comfortable for exercising. The 5 ” length is perfect for me as it ’s long enough to not ride up my thighs when I walk/workout. I love the feel of the material and how they hug the skin without cutting off my circulation. I wear them during outdoor walks and in the gym. In both cases the pockets hold my phone, keys, earbuds, etc. I have fluctuated weight and at each stage I can still wear them comfortably. I have washed and put in the dryer but I would recommend for longevity to air dry only( or lay on top of a dryer). I recently purchased this set in navy blue and am honestly so in love with it. The shorts have a real quality feel to them and aren ’ t too short looking while wearing them out( which is usually an issue for me). They ’ re decently stretchy, I would suggest maybe sizing down if you ’ re on the more petite side- I know for me, I ordered the small and can live with the little bit of room in the waist, but I know that some prefer a shapewear like fit for these types of sets. [ I absolutely love these. This was my bike short come to Jesus moment. They are thick, they are comfortable, they do not stretch out. I wore them all day, washed them multiple times and have had no loss in color or structure. They do n't write up my legs they are a long enough length to please me. I will buy so many of these. I have this one pair and I need more. I got this pair for free for review and I really appreciate that because they really got me excited about bike shorts. I did n't get sweaty or sticky while wearing them. I will say for all their great properties they attract quite a bit of animal hair. Some people may not find that much of a bother but, as a heads up, you 're going to want a lint brush.

[ Brought these bike shorts on a vacation. The fabric is nice and breathable. They were comfortable during a hike on a hot day. I also wore them under a dress for extra warmth in the evening. They are very well made as other Champion clothing I have had in the past have been. I have a feeling these will last a long time. The elastic at the waste is not too thick or wide as I have noticed in other bike shorts. The logo is cool. However if it weren ’ t on the outside I could have worn them as leggings under a short dress too. But they are still plenty useful and worth it. The texture of the weave is soft and the fabric feels comfortable next to the skin.
