The pockets are ample and there are draw strings at the ankle to prevent creepy crawlies from crawling up your pant legs. The length is good if you are on the shorter side. If you are over 5' 5 '' they may be short.

Super cozy! Nicely oversized…the rise( waistband to crotch) is super long which isn ’ t my favorite, but the pants are so comfortable and cozy that I ’ ll deal with that. If you ’ re getting the brown color, be aware it ’s more mauve than brown. Other colors( my family bought every color) are true to the photos.

These pants are extremely flattering, but I am not a curvy girl... I 'm more straight- shaped. I could see why a curvy figure would have some issues with the waistband. Also, for traveling, they fit into a small packing cube. I think they will be excellent as a midlayer in Finland's winter temperatures. Hang well.( 2) Having the high rise waist is great; the pants stay securely in place while I move in any direction, at any speed.( 3) The horizontal zippered front pockets are an excellent style and security feature:( a) you do n't get that pocket gap pop- out that comes with non- zippered, angled pockets and( b) there's no fear that what you put in those pockets, like keys, will fall out.( 4) They are perfect for travel. I wanted to love these pants, but they could 've been better. I thought they fit TTS, I 'm 5' 9 180lb with wider hips, and usually wear a large in bottoms like these, so that's what I ordered. The large fit great( and these are tall girl friendly!!), however, the waistband was oddly large. There is no drawstring to tighten them, and it just felt so loose around the waist with no structure. I expected some kind of elastic waistband, but it was just a loose stretchy fabric. I might take them somewhere to see if I can have the waist taken in, but it just did n't feel secure.
