I bought these a month ago in every colour. They are now the only pant I wear. Currently on day 4 of wearing the black ones every day on a wet Oregon coast trip. They repel water, brush clean and are not stinky! The fit also stays true- no stretch or pilling. I am in love with these. I am 5 ’ 4 apple shaped and normally wear a 20W pant. These fit perfectly. I ’ ve been looking for flattering outdoor plus size pants for so long and cried when I found these. I was worried they would be a slim 22 since I ’ m on the upper end of my weight range& this being an outdoor brand, but they fit and look so good!! Plus they are way more comfortable than I expected. The material is light and soft, the length is perfect with boots since I have a 29 inch inseam, and there ’s even some stretch over time. I ’ m so so happy& would/will probably buy again.

Great material, I like all the improvements done to the pockets and to the roll up legs. Material is a little thinner than past models but this only improves the fit and stretch. They are still very durable. Great fit and very comfortable. Should be noted that these are sized a little differently, They are a whole size smaller than my Halle Pants from previous seasons, but both my size 18 and size 20 fit exactly the same! Minor issue, the pants themselves go from hiking to office casual with ease. I will never stop buying these so long as they fit me.;)

I 've had several pairs of rain pants from other manufacturers over the years and these are the best so far. They do n't restrict my leg movements, do n't leak, and are easy to get on and off. The rise is high, so you have good overlap with your top and the waist drawstring seems sturdy enough, although I pair them with suspenders also. Rain and wet brush are expected if you are outside much of the year here in the PNW, so you need some good rain pants.

Really nice rain pants. Pack down fairly small with a carabiner clip to hold ‘ em on your bag. Honestly I didn ’ t notice much of a difference between their weight and my previous REI pants weight. They do seem to be a little bit larger than the size that is advertised. I ’ ve seen other peoples reviews and they mention the same thing, so though you may be fine with your normal size, I would try a size down. Overall, it ’s a great quality product that should keep you dry from rain.

Leggings are the only thing that I have ever been able to wear hiking/ backpacking until now. Although leggings are great to wear while hiking, they are sometimes not durable enough for parts of the trail, but they were the only pant that came up high enough on my waist and had room for my hips and thighs. The Nikka, however, does both AND they add much more durability and confidence to my hikes. They also have bigger pockets which allow more room for storage. The stretch fabric through the midsection and thighs make rock scrambling and uneven terrain much more comfortable than a regular hiking pant as well.

This is the first time I ’ ve owned Fjallraven hiking pants. I already own two of their jackets in multiple colors, so I wanted to try their pants out. I have a slightly curvy, petite body( 5 ’ 3 ”, 120 lbs, 26 ” waist) and ordered a size 4 with a 30 ” inseam. I wanted a looser fit to be comfortable during activities or just lounging at home, and to have room for a base layer in the winter. The waist is definitely too large for me, but they fit perfectly everywhere else. I can easily tuck in a shirt to fill the gap, or just wear a belt. The material feels great, and after wearing them a few times hiking, I have no concerns.

I got these pants in the spring for field work( I work in environment). I ended up wearing them all summer and was impressed how well they handled bushwacking in thick forest and shrubs without getting shredded. The big pockets are very useful to keep your things within reach at all time. In the fall I went for a 5- day backpacking trip and I was absolutely impressed by their versatility. We had some hot days, and the vents allowed me to stay comfortable. We had a night of pouring rain and the next day everybody got their pants soaked by the wet vegetation. The G- 1000 fabric was just water repellant enough to keep me dry. Finally we went over a snowy mountain pass, and the hooks allowed me to tie the pants to my laces and keep the snow from getting into my boots. Overall the only thing these pants could n't handle was the darn chipmunk that chewed a hole through the pocket one night to get at the couple peanuts that were left in there!

The Keb trouser is my favorite Fjallraven pant. I sometimes call it a technical sweat pant. It is THAT comfortable. These are my go- to pants for colder mountain biking temperatures and spring skiing. The botton system at the ankle makes for a good jogger style fit. Or you can loosen it up to fit over a bigger boot. Despite the two zipper vents I find that these trousers start to feel a bit too toasty for temps 65 degrees farenheit and warmer. Check out the abisko lite trekking trouser for a comparable style made with a lighter weight fabric.

I ’ m hard on gear, especially clothing when in the mountains. After loving my first pair of Kebs, I bought a second and they ’ re quickly replacing most of my softshell- style mountain pants. The side zips are great for venting the legs on sunny days on the glacier. I ’ ve worn these through dumping snow and miserable rain and have never had an issue so long as you keep up with the water- proofing recommendations. I am 5 ’ 10 125lbs and have the old version in size 29 and was thinking of going a size smaller because they were pretty baggy. I ’ m glad I did not and stuck with 29, I consider them a good fit.

The pants are a dream. Incredibly precise design that fits like a glove. I will wear these hiking and just out and about. I love the higher( mid) waist and my only complaint is at 5 ’ 10 ” I wish the tall length was still a bit longer. Purchased these pants, that I have been looking at for some time, for Alaskan travels. I was able to wear them multiple times on rainy days and then the versatility of just touring. Made my packing list much smaller because they are so versatile. I am 5 ’ 6 ”, 57 years old and 138 pounds. I tried on both the 6 and the 8, both of them fit well and ended up keeping 8 so I could layer for warmth if I needed. I have several pairs of the Dynama/2 pants but wanted something warmer for cooler temps. These are great! Warm but not hot so once I get moving I don ’ t get overheated. Plenty of room to add a this base layer for really cold days. I am 5 ’ 4 ”, 122lbs. Usually wear an XS in Dynama/2 crop pants, and a S in full length pants. I bought these because I already had several pairs of the Dynama high rise pants and I wanted something for colder weather. I bought the same size that I wear in other Dynama patns. The cut is very flattering and still allows full range of motion for climbing. The lining is sooo soft and comfy and I love the drawstring waist! My only complaint is that the Corozo Nut color is not at all as pictured — it's more of a gold/dark khaki color than the warm brown that I was expecting which was disappointing. If I had known I probably would have gotten a different color.

[ Used them during a week long backpacking trip in Yosemite. They did phenomenally going up and down the mountain. Lower warm elevations were no problem due to its breathability and high cold elevations were no problem once moving but easily fit some long John ’s underneath. The only down side is the zippered right leg pocket. It didn ’ t rain on my trip but I tested the water shedding in the shower. The zipper is a shire place for water to seep in during a downpour. Still love them though!

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!
