The pockets do seem high on the jacket, but are still nice to have and deep- you could easily fit your phone and a small wallet in one pocket. I like the fit of this jacket. I am typically in between a medium and large. I would consider sizing down to a medium for a smaller fit( since it is oversized and cropped). [ I ’ m both a resident physician and a gym junkie so I ’ m always on the move& love a piece that can serve more than one purpose. It ’s amazing for gym workouts/running AND I ’ ve worn it over scrubs to work for a fashionable twist. The length of this jacket is perfect to keep me cozy during my warmup without restricting any movement at the hips( IYKYK), and it ’s breathable enough to throw over my sweaty top for my drive home. For reference, I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ” with a shorter torso and it sits ~3 ” above my crotch. But honestly my favorite part is the pockets: they ’ re deep, they ’ re roomy, and they ’ re sewn at a steep angle so my belongings aren ’ t constantly sliding out when I lay down or lean over. The fabric isn ’ t perfect for me, as movements can be a bit loud( think noisy rain jacket) when I ’ m trying to examine a sleeping patient or steal a cookie from the nurse ’s station, but that also makes me think it ’ ll be pretty water resistant. I( luckily) haven ’ t had any rain recently to test that feature out. Overall, I ’ m really happy with this multipurpose jacket and I ’ m really excited to get some good use out of it.

[ So I just want to start out by saying that it ’s way too warm for me to wear this out and about right now, but it will definitely be a staple once the weather cools down. It ’s such a lightweight jacket with snap enclosures where the pockets are which is a nice little throwback feature that you don ’ t see often in jackets. I got a medium and I love that it ’s a little oversized, but not too large so as to where you ’ re drowning. I love that the outside of the jacket gives windbreaker material, but the inside doesn ’ t meaning you won ’ t sweat at all in it like a typical windbreaker. I personally love this jacket and can ’ t wait for it to cool down so I can wear it somewhere other than inside my house.

[ Being a busy parent chasing a one year old. It is hard to find time to exercise during the day. I can rarely find time to go for a run until night time and the temperature has been dropping significantly at night time. That is where this jacket has come in. It has been a perfect run jacket for the night time temperatures. It has kept me from being too hot or too cold. It also has great reflective material for nighttime runs. [ What an absolute gem of a running jacket! I live in northern New England where the weather can quickly change from hot to cold, rain to snow, and everything in between. Dressing for my run can be challenging and it changes every day. Lucky, this Run Visible Convertible Jacket is always in the mix. The quality is what I love the most. It ’s very thin and breathable yet the fabric is very strong. It won ’ t tear easily and it ’s sewn tightly in all the right places. The zipper is durable and doesn ’ t snag the fabric when zipping. This jacket can take some wear and tear from both me and Mother Nature and still hold up perfectly. The reflective material in the arms, wrist and other appropriate places gives me peace of mind. I tend to run in the evening when it starts to get dark. I feel comfortable that I ’ m visible to others without having to wear extra clothing or reflective bands. You also have the option to convert it to a jacket, vest, t- shirt, and tank top style. This comes in handy when running in variety of conditions like I do. Converting it to the different styles is a bit challenging at first but after you get the hang of it, you can do it quickly. You also have the option of the hood if need be. I ’ ve run in misty, windy, hot, and cool weather. I can honestly say that this handles any condition. It repels rain, blocks wind and works well in warm or cool conditions. Having only this jacket to tackle all these conditions is very nice. Overall, this is a well designed runners jacket. It ’s well made and engineered with the runner in mind. [ My biggest issue running is finding something that works, is lightweight enough, and isn ’ t smacking my body while running or walking. This jacket is perfect for breezy days, slightly cooler runs, and night time exercise. It fits true to size and doesn ’ t agitate my skin or flap against me. When I work up a sweat and need to shed a layer I don ’ t have to awkwardly hold it or tie it around me, I just flip it inside out and pack it into the pocket and* boom* a vest. It is very easy to concert to a vest and back& even when it is in vest form it isn ’ t heavy or flopping around on my back. Could easily put a water vest over it or under it as well if needed. It kept my skin from getting wind burned and helped me maintain some warmth on cooler runs. No chafing either- the fabric is phenomenal! I often walk with my kids in the evening and with it getting darker earlier I love the reflective aspect of this jacket for this every day use as well. Highly recommend for day time, night time, short, and long runs.

I purchased one of these in Copenhagen 4 years ago, and have worn it on the beach in Oregon at least 500 times. There are no signs of fraying, material is still strong, zippers work great. If it rains, or excess wind demands it, the hood fits well and tightens with clever elastic locking adjusters. The length is just right for me, not too long like some. Chest pocket is perfect for keeping my wallet/ID. I have collected rocks over the years and just put them in the side pocket, and they are still strong. Light weight but excellent in windy conditions. I do n't need to replace it but after 4 years it's looking a bit faded so I ordered another one in a different color and it's on the way. [ Wore this on a cruise to Ireland& Scotland. It repelled wind& light rain and I found myself reaching for this jacket often. The fit is nice, I 'm 6' 4 and the XL is nearly perfect. The sleeves are little long( my size is 36/37 so this is probably 37/38) but I 'm ok with it. The front/back length is passing for my height but if the back was longer( like they do with some jackets) it would be even better. If you 're 6' 2 to 6' 3 I think the length would be perfect on both sides. The body is roomy but not baggy, and fortunately not slim fit like some. It's not the best in the cold and the material has a cool feel against the skin, so I wore this with a L/S wool baselayer. Mountain grey is a killer color, my favorite from this brand thus far. I really like they style and I got several compliments.

I bought this in the early summer bc I was in desperate need of a new rain jacket( my old one was literally crumbling apart!). This past weekend I assisted in the rescue 7 people who were capsized in a pontoon boat. I dove into the water with phone and all in the pocket of this jacket. After the scary event ended I took my phone out of my pocket and was shocked to still see the phone screen activated! The phone still needed about 7 hours to completely dry out and let me charge it but it ’s completely fine now. Obviously this jacket isn ’ t meant to be submerged but the saving the phone of it all felt worth mentioning. This jacket is also WARM and I don ’ t feel like raindrops are still making me cold through the jacket. It ’s also a superb wind breaker. [ I just received this jacket and it is amazing- very lightweight, warm, and cool looking. Question: What more could I want???? Answer: Cool weather and some hiking trails for a `` test drive ''. Although the price tag was scary high, it seems well made and will really pack well. It is a keeper. I am not sure about `` durability '' yet, but it seems to be well crafted.

I bought this specifically for big wall climbing and it was perfect for doing El Cap in a day( first trial run with the jacket!). It's light and packable, taking up minimal space in my day pack and was super easy to take on and off throughout the day between belaying and climbing. Pretty warm with a sizable hood. Pockets are roomy enough for an iPhone. I do wish it had a draw cord and packed into the pocket with a reversible tab for a carabiner( you can still pack it in the pocket, you just have to awkwardly clip to the zipper). One downside to the lightweight fabric is it's extremely fragile — I tore several small holes in the arms while mantling onto a granite boulder at the end of the day( the other down jackets I 've worn never had this problem, but they were much thicker). I also notice the feathers like to poke out of the fabric rather often, and have to frequently pull them back into the jacket. So: handle with care!

Well made lightweight jacket. I appreciate the zippered pockets, slight tailoring, and breathability. Good quality. I have two of these for a couple years and they hold up wear. Comfy to wear for a walk or running errands. I 'm 5' 7 '', 125 lbs, curvy/pear shaped. I got the medium and it fits well, could probably go for a small if I wanted it more fitted or the arms a bit shorter.

I have this jacket in multiple colours because of how versatile and great it is. It is very lightweight and does n't feel like anything when it's on but provides a surprising amount of warmth on chilly days. It's nice enough to put over a dress and wear to grab lunch or do some shopping, but it also holds its own on day treks in the forests.

I do n't know what dark wizard lord Cotopaxi made a deal with to find this space material, but it is the softest thing I 've ever had on my body, and I 've had literal baby faces on my body before. It's so comfortable I want to wear it even when it's crazy hot outside, and unsurprisingly it's cool and cozy even then. I bought one in all three colors available and no I 'm not embarrassed about that in the least.

This jacket is great, it reminds me of the older version of this called the Paray but this one is a little more stretchy, the sleeves were a little baggy and longer than normal so I went down to a medium. The snap button is awesome for arm mobility for tennis and venting.

Bought the seed color in Medium. Runs true to size. Photo green was a bit darker than the actual one. Would be good to see more colors as options. I haven ’ t tried it out in the rain but I did wear it for a day and can say that it does keep you warm! I love the pit zippers they allow you to breathe and conceal at the same time! Love the colors my only peeve is that a large is truly a large lol. If you want to wear a sweatshirt under a rain jacket this is perfect if you wear a medium size shirt youll want to up it in size only if you plan wearing something bulky under it if not, then stay to the size you wear. The other reason I got the large is my arms are longer than average and my shoulders broader than average as well! I wish it was tapered at the waist line a little bit but overall it ’s a cute jacket! I got it to take on a cruise in the UK from Amsterdam! 12 days of fun I hope! I believe this jacket will last a lifetime as I have several products from Cotopaxi! My backpack is 16 years old and still looks new and I use it a lot! If it gets dirty I just throw it in the washer and it comes out brand new! Have fun exploring the world!
