The weather can be bipolar very often, so if it's 35 degrees outside at the beginning of the day and hot later, I like the fact that I can carry a lightweight jacket around and stuff it in my backpack when I 'm not wearing it. I have lots of heated clothing. I even wear around the house, heat the person not the room. It can be worn with something over top to keep the heat in. Prefer vest to full sleeve coat for that reason. This one is especially nice because it heats the neck too, which is an area of the body that loses a lot of heat.
