The arms of the jacket is stretchy, but the middle part of the jacket is n't. You have to size up in the jacket. I bought 2 sets. The bottoms in the blue are large and the maroon color are in an xl. The material is super soft and they have a lot of great compression to hold you in. They also have a nice high- waisted band that completely covers my tummy and makes me feel firm and supported.
