[ I could go on and on about this whole line from Smartwool. It's their best thing in a very long time and I 've been a fan for years. The material is very soft, has a great but comfortable fit. These bottoms also have a nice wide and sturdy waste band so there is no bunching or other uncomfortable nonsense in that area. These are certainly on the tighter side of the tights, with which I usually wear a small but had to go with a medium for these- but I do for all nike tights so this is nothing new or one off. On the body, it looks and fits great- and the seam does n't really rub or show at all like some other tights do so do n't worry about it not being seamless. But i love the pockets. It sits on the perfect hight. I wore the tight while wearing the baby carrier. It was so easy to put stuff in the pockets and get them out. I usually struggle with other brands where i have to remove the carrier first in order to use the pockets properly. Overall i think its a very comfortable and nice pair of tights.

I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ” and 120 lbs, and the XS fits really well. The waistband is a bit snug going over the hips, but once it ’s on, it feels firm and supportive, which I like. The best way to describe the fabric is to compare it to the Athleta brand I also wear. The Athleta brand has a buttery soft feel, a bit slick, thinner feeling fabric, and I do love them. By comparison, the Calia fabric for this legging has a slightly course, thicker feel, making it a bit warmer with a more substantial feel, which I also love. And when I say “ course ”, I should clarify that it is still a very soft fabric and you won ’ t be disappointed. Both are great in their own way, and I wear either depending on what I ’ m doing.

I ordered these in several colors because they are comfortable and work well at the gym. They are on the thinner side though and in terms of sizing, I would say buy whatever your regular size is. I normally wear a XL but I ordered the XXL because I did not want them to cling to my skin( I 'm 65+) and show every lump and bump. But, I really did not have to do this and could have easily just worn my regular size. Again, they are thin and do not hold you in so if there is something that you do n't want to show, I would say get them in the darker colors or you could size up.

[ Right out of the package I fell I love with the feel of these leggings…they are buttery soft! Putting them on I realized they ’ ll definitely be my favorite leggings. They have slight compression to them but not so much that they feel super tight. The seams in them feel nonexistent. The way the gusset is made makes the inseam fit perfect without any riding up, pinching or pulling. Even as a short girl these are the perfect length. As a plus size girl it can sometimes be hard to find leggings that can accommodate midsection weight without the legs fitting in an odd fashion…these nailed the overall fit perfectly. I would 100% recommend these to all of my girl friends.

[ This was my first pair of athletic tights and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked them. They were of course tight when I opened the package and held them up so I was a bit apprehensive about how comfortable I would actually feel once I got them on. But I tried them on and to my surprise they felt great! As a plus size beauty I try to stay away from fitted bottoms because I ’ m not proud of my cellulite showing on my thighs. These tights helped to hide that way better than some other brands/materials I tried. Ever since I ’ ve gained weight I also tend to buy items that have a high rise. These however are mid rise and they felt really good. The only thing I was missing with this was pockets, which is a feature I ’ ve been looking for when shopping for leggings. But remember these are tights so there is a difference. That ’s not a deal breaker for me though, I would definitely buy more in other colors.

[ The leggings are the perfect every day legging! I ’ ve worn them while taking walks, cleaning, grocery shopping to even lounging on the couch! The comfort is there and feels good against the skin. I ’ m a die hard Nike Sculpt legging kind of girl and these are the closest I can get to them! They are made of tightly knit fabric which give the perfect compression- sucks everything in and stops the jiggling! After hours of wearing them I find they do not stretch out and keep their shape and compression. I find the deep curve waist band flattens the stomach which I find incredibly flattering too! I feel more supported and compressed without wearing shape wear. The waist band has maybe an inch and a half elastic sewn into it and the jury is still out on that. I can not make up my mind if I like it or if I don ’ t like it. I do think the elastic helps them from slipping so much though. Overall I think they ’ re a great buy minimal slipping while moving, excellent fabric, NON see through fabric and they are durable!
