It kind of has a brushed texture and the organic cotton 100 percent totally feels different from Polyester mix. I do n't need any other sweatshirt if I had this. The fit is pretty roomy. I bought the men's version because it heats on the front and on the back and the women's only heats on the front. It's a little baggy on me but that's okay, I just wear a thin t- shirt underneath. Heating is GREAT. On really cold days I put a fleece on top and boy does it feel good.

[ I am new to the Fjallraven clothing line. I like the way it looks. I like the fit and its comfort. I purchased a shirt and it ran small. I was leery when purchasing the size. The reviews indicated it was a slim fit but ran big. When articles of clothing say slim fit I typically purchase an XXL. I purchased the XL and it fits great. For reference I 'm a little taller than 6' at 230#.
