[ Excellent insulated jacket, been waiting for Carhartt to make something like this for years. Warm, light, flexible, and not too bulky. Similar to synthetic insulated hoody's you find from outdoor companies like Patagonia, Arc'teryx, etc... but with a slightly thicker outer layer and more reasonable price tag. can be used as a mid or outer layer. It wo n't be the most durable outer layer, but durable outer layers or heavy and restricting, this is not.

I absolutely love my new jacket. It's lightweight yet warm and comfortable and has lots of pockets. This particular style with the Carhartt logo is the one I really like. I 'm 5'5 '' 135 lbs and I ordered a men's small because this particular jacket does n't come in women's. I 've washed it once and came out very nice. I 'll be enjoying this jacket for years to come. Have never received so many compliments while hiking! I wore this paired with the Bastille Trail pant recently on a hike, and was stopped numerous times asking where my jacket was. Halfdays really delivered with the amount of pockets in this jacket! It's comfortable and surprisingly light weight while still being warm enough for spring hiking. The fabric seems very durable and( fingers crossed) has n't stained. It does run big, but I liked the look so I stuck with my normal size. As long as you do n't have a broad back, you could definitely size down.

Looks like all the other work jackets but with added HEAT! if you work outside all winter, you HAVE TO GET THIS!!!! I thk there are a bunch of guys in the construction site with this jacket now. really happy i spent the cash and got one.

Went with the larger size instead of the XL and I 'm glad I did. Helps all day on the job site, especially with 2 extra batteries for safe keeping The button is in a great place for easy control, and just pressing and holding it down turns it on and off.
