I bought 4 of these for my grandchildren to wear under their lacrosse gear. The size guide was spot on and the shirts did exactly what we wanted them to do which was to stop their shoulder and elbow pads from pinching them. The benefit we did not know was it kept those pads from shifting during play. The shirts do not hold body odour after washing and they dry quickly so can be washed in a hotel sink and hung up to dry. The kids say they are not hot at all and are really comfortable. Good job under armour!

This material is thin and soft without being clingy( which my size L midriff hates) while at the same time they were super protective from the sun. I have the patina green in medium size. I go on day hikes at least twice weekly and have this shirt keeps me as comfortable as possible even in 30° Celsius weather. This shirt stays dry as I sweat during my hike. If the weather starts to cool it is easy to put a fleece layer over this one. Lastly, I do n't put this in the dryer after washing as it can become completely dry in an less than an hour in my house where the A/C temperature is set to 20° Celsius. Overall I really like it and I will get a second pair to use when I do the Salkantay Trail in the near future.

[ Super hard to find a sun protective shirt in Petites. I 'm 5 ft 1 and all the regular shirts come down to my knees and way past my hands. This shirt is wonderful- It's not too long in the body or arms for me. Just a little long in the arms, but I can easily handle that. Tested in the hot Texas sun- 89F with a breeze. I went out to pick beans and blackberries and did NOT feel the hot sun burning on my arms like I would in a T shirt and my core felt cooler than my head( wearing a sun hat). LOVE this new shirt. I am a staunch supporter of Columbia Sportswear for the Tamiami and Super Tamiami Long Sleeve Shirts. I love how light they are. They are so light- I no longer wear cotton T Shirts in summer. Not only T Shirts but Polo Shirts too. This long sleeve shirt is lighter and offers amazing sun protection. It's a short sleeve shirt( roll uo loops) It's a functional fishing shirt- quick drying- lots of pockets. It's a great summer shirt because its sooo light and quick drying. It can go from a hike/ walk to market. It's an excellent traveling shirt- wrinkle resistant and quick drying. I have actually gone swimming and thrown the shirt on without towel drying and the shirt dries amazingly fast. And to those who think this shirt is too expensive- This shirt is like kevlar- indestructible. I have nearly 20 shirts( I had a weight loss and had to drop a size)- and not one has made it to the rag pile. The only casualty was a spark from the s'mores fire melted a hole. They still look great. I ca n't remember my first, but it's at least 8 years. Worth every penny.

We buy these capilene cool shirts yearly. My kids adore them for hiking/biking/swimming/camps etc. they dry super quick and keep them shaded and cool. A must have! My kids liked the new thumb holes. We usually buy the size ups when they are discounted before we need them. My daughter is 8 and the 7/8 fits her as well as the 10. The 10 has plenty of room to grow.

I wanted to keep all the benefits of the cool fabric, ventilation and spf sun protection without losing the half casual look for work.
