Just the right bagginess to be comfy at home, skating, lounging, or running errands. Still a little short in the length for 5 ’ 11 ”, 194, but absolutely loves these and feel blessed to own the navy, khaki/tan, and the black. Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

I love that these are made with breathable 100% cotton with a nice weight and substantial feel. These hold up well to washing, and they don ’ t shrink when dried on low. Really great old school joggers. Not too heavy, not too light, but perfect for winter or damp cool days. Do n't expect some flimsy Adidas track pant, these are well made all cotton. They actually wrap around the leg nicer than I thought, as long as you wear them up a bit, they do n't look too baggy or anything. I 'm 6' 1 '' and the Medium is sort of just right. You might be able to size down, but I 'm glad I stuck with my usual size. I bought the matching shorts as well and they 're great, may eventually buy the matching sweater or hoodie. The pockets with zippers are nice to have as well. Overall 5 stars for me, great set.

One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. It's not enough to take away from how great these are, but something to consider if you 're on the border of sizes.
