[ At first glance, I thought the pants looked too loose — especially for a slim fit. But once I put them on, I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly comfortable they felt. The fit allows for full range of motion, and the leg bend is perfect. I ’ ve worn them in a variety of settings: to work, out to dinner, and even for a full round of golf. In every case, the movement was completely unrestricted. The pants didn ’ t ride up, and the waistband sits comfortably — snug without being tight. My only critique is the thigh area, which could be more tapered to better match the “ slim fit ” label. A slightly more streamlined cut would elevate the style without compromising comfort. If I could change one thing, I ’ d slim down the upper thigh area to give a more tapered, flattering fit. It would add to the aesthetic without sacrificing comfort or mobility. I ’ d also consider upgrading the zipper. While it functions well, it doesn ’ t have that premium feel that matches the rest of the garment. A higher- quality zipper would round out the overall experience.

[ I received the Columbia Men's ROC Tech Chino Pants free from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. I got them in black and they are a very good quality pant. They are versatile in that they can be worn for business or casual. The fabric is lightweight and breathable and almost feels like they are water resistant. You do need to remove from the dryer and hang up quickly as they wrinkle easily. Very comfortable fit and feel like a pair of dressy khakis. Great for work as they are very comfortable but also great for a more formal event as they can also look dressy if paired with other garments. They are a win, win in appearance and you ca n't beat the fit as they are super soft and comfortable. You can move easily in them and they do n't feel stiff like jeans.

I am a search and rescue volunteer and climbing wall instructor who spends my time in Arizona and Washington state. Working in a wide range of environmental conditions requires that my gear does the same. I ordered the large Basin pull on pants, using Mountain Hardware ’s sizing guide, and I found them to fit true to size. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the Basin Pull- On Pant while climbing and hiking in the sun and the rain. The DWR finish repels water and worked well during light rain while climbing. I also found the fabric to be surprisingly rugged while remaining breathable. My favorite feature is the rear zip pocket. I never want to risk losing my phone while climbing and the zip pocket always keeps my phone secure when I am moving on the rock. While the elastic waist with the adjustable internal draw cord took some getting used to, I have found it to be comfortable while having great range of motion and mobility. The Basin Pull- On Pants are a great all- around pant for climbing, backpacking, or spending time outdoors in a variety of conditions.

I am a rock climbing guide who guides across Colorado and Utah and its important for me to have gear that works well, is durable and looks professional. These pants are great! The sizing, though was tough. I 've previously owned the MHW Cedarberg Pull On Pant in a Large. Those pants I could barely pull over my butt. They fit the waist already but had very little stretch to pull on. This time around, I got an XL in the Basin Pull On and they are a bit too big. They do n't fall off but without the drawstring tied they are quite loose. I have a 35 '' waist and a 33 '' inseam. I wonder how a Large would fit... I enjoy this pants for climbing in as they provide a ton of movement. They fit nicely under the harness with the elastic waistband but the drawstring is a bit annoying with a harness. I am typically not a fan of `` drop in '' pockets because larger/heavier things tend to `` drop out '' but there is a zippered rear pocket which provides security for not loosing things. The straight leg design is great for movement and makes these comfy but they are tad bit too wide for my liking. Anyone who is looking for a comfortable climbing pant would be happy with these but they have less utility in the multipitch world due to the lack of thigh pockets.

I 'm a indoor climbing coach and instructor and an avid outdoor climber as well in the New England area when im climbing outside I need my pants to leave me with the ability to move and those pants knock that out of the park. These pants are fantastic. They are extremely durable and resilient against rocks and dust. On top of that the DWR finish the does an awesome job of being water resistant on rainy days and very flexible on normal dry crag days. The security pocket is a fantastic addition to all the features that the pants have to offer because when you need to take your ID with you on climbs ypu know it will be safely zipped away and not as easy to lose in the end. These pants can handle any scenario for any type of person. Great addition to my climbing gear!

These pants are almost perfect. My only critique of these wonderous pantaloons is that they do n't have a zipper. If I 'm going to be wearing a pair of pants under a harness all day, as I often do, then I want an easier way to `` relieve myself '' than awkwardly wiggling my waistband from under my harness. Sorry about their review title, I couldn ’ t help myself. Lol grate pants, fit well at the waist down to the knee but cut quite slim at the calf. Every time I get up from sitting or get out of the car or off my motorcycle. I have to do the pull my pant leg down with the other foot routine. Not a big deal. Just a bit annoying. I love free, fly products, top quality I have been a fan from the start.

I have every single color. I wear size 34, love the velcro to adjust the tightness on the waist. I wear them for work and on my days off when I go out. Throw a polo and casual sneakers on and you ’ re good to go. Very durable and stretchy, they take a beating. They look good with either sneakers or boots. The side pockets I wish were a little wider, I can only hold my car keys in the side pocket. The main pockets hold my wallet. I keep my cell phone in my back pocket, I have a iPhone 16 pro max with a case, it ’s very tight in the side pocket.

I ’ m on the shorter side, so I gave them a quick cuff at the bottom to get the right length, and it looked great. I ’ m about a 32 waist and a Medium fit comfortably on my waist. A belt would have made them feel more snug but was not necessary at all. I wore them to a busy conference and was constantly moving between packed sessions and icy AC- filled rooms, and through it all, the pants kept me feeling cool and comfortable. That ’s not something I can say about the pants I wore on the other days of the conference.. Nike clearly paid attention to the small details with these. One of my favorite design touches is a subtle hook near the hip — it ’s perfect for attaching a badge lanyard or keys without adding bulk. It ’s the kind of utility that ’s there when you need it and disappears when you don ’ t. Clean, minimal, but functional. The fabric is a fantastic. It ’s soft to the touch but feels really durable, like it ’ ll hold up to long days and a range of activities.
