The side water bottle holders can hold a Stanley water bottle, there are adequate pockets/zippers, the middle area has lots of room so I can fit a jacket and still have room and there is a place to keep my laptop. I 'm hoping the silky fabric does n't rip or pill but so far so good.

I recently purchased the Allpa 42L and absolutely loved it! Everything about it was very solid, well- made and well thought out. The only two issues that I had with it was it seemed like the waist belt was a little bulky if you did not want to wear it and it was way bigger than I thought it was going to be! I ’ m sure that ’s a good thing, but I did have to return it so that I can get a smaller one because it was so big. If you are traveling and you ’ re looking for a super great well built well designed well thought out bag this is a must have! This bag is incredibly sturdy and if you pack smart and pack light, you can take get weeks to months worth of travel out of this bag while not being an oversized bag( 36L). It keeps good form and structure. It's still relatively new product but so far it has been quite steady. Compression straps, ample space, shoe storage, front pocket, top pocket, laptop/tablet holder and a couple of mesh pockets inside. Side and top handles feel well built. I appreciate the load lifters. It looks good. Would appreciate a full black version but the gray is also quite nice! This one is well designed and will be very popular very soon.

I already own and love an Away carry- on suitcase; it is my go- to bag for weekend trips. But for longer stays, I tend to prefer a soft- sided suitcase so I can have the option to pack a bit more and expand the suitcase. So, I was thrilled to see this new design from Away and even more thrilled to receive one as a sample. I used it on a recent trip and it is really the best of all worlds; the durability and stability of a hard- shell case with the flexibility to pack lightly and keep the duffel in its slim profile OR truly expand it and max it out( it can fit a lot, much more than I 'd need for a weeklong stay). Plus, tons of convenient outer pockets which I love for last- minute items, gifts, or things I 'd like to keep close at hand. I received this product free from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest feedback. I travel a lot for work and for pleasure and this rolling duffle bag is perfect for me and my needs. I love that it has a hard shell on the backside of the bag so it can be laid down to pack easily. It also has fold out metal legs on the inside that help to support the bottom of the duffle bag so it will stand up on its own when it is packed. A secure garment strap on the inside will help keep those dress pants from being too wrinkled and multiple pockets for all the other items you need to bring with you. It even has expansion straps to help secure and support the bag. The handle glides smoothly up and down and the wheels are nice and heavy duty to withstand whatever obstacles you have to pass. This bag is perfect for casual trips like camping or vacation trips, and it can even be used for long business trips. The bag is very sleek and classy looking. It can be used in any situation and for as little or as much clothing as you need. Just for reference, I put an entire oversized king comforter bedding set inside this duffle bag and still was able to zip it up easily. This bag can really hold a lot of clothes. I will be using this bag for a lot of my trips. Excellent quality and design.

If you are a minimalist and like to travel internationally this is your pack! I took this pack across the the pedestrian in Tijuana, Mexico. I previously tried the Osprey Fairview on the same trip but the metal frame was extremely uncomfortable. I tried the smaller version this back and found it much more comfortable. This pack does shine when it's used with packing cubes. Not only does it make travel easier but it makes everything easier to find. The zip off top pack made things much easier as it was one less thing to lose as it was attached to the pack. I took it everywhere with me and left the larger pack at home. The built in zipper and pockets made things easier when finding things like my sunglasses, passport, meds, sunscreen, etc. The pocket with the water was a match made in heaven as it was hot and allowed me to carry water and refill when I was able to. On the way back I was still able to pack additional food items that I purchase on to the pack. This is where the hip belt shined and helped transfer the weight off of my back onto my hips. Loved it so much that I am planning on replacing my husband's pack with this one once it gives up the ghost. Overall money well spent!

Bought this for a one month, one bag trip to Thailand. Plenty of space and full of thoughtful ideas to make the most of it. I ’ m 6 ’ 8 ” and was still able to adjust this bag to my comfort. I think are a few opportunities for improvement. 1. Since this bag uses a large central compartment like a duffel bag, it would be nice to straps to hold stuff in place. I didn ’ t think it was a big deal when those were left off the latest allpa models, because at least those have enough pockets and zippers to organize. But it would have been useful in this design. 2. The Sling bag doesn ’ t lay flat and feels a bit awkward. The way the straps are attached, it feels like a Fanny pack. But this bag feels too large to wear it that way. What ’s puzzling is that Cotopaxi makes separate 8L sling bags and all of those have strap points that make more sense. Overall excellent backpack.

If asked what I would change, I would only add in a few attachment points to the exterior for one or two D- rings or carabiners for hanging a wet pair of shoes, jacket, or to dry a shirt as we traveled. Good bag for overnights. Magnets on the handle could be stronger or the handles from the 65 liter bag that has the velcro wrap would be better. Other than that no problems.

Purchased the 35l duffel to help with photo cubes I bought. I have the medium and small camera cube. They fit well in the bag. Living in Florida this bag great for use at the beach and other shoots. No worries with setting on the ground when picking it up dirt, etc stays on the underside. Love having access through the top. Also great having a duffel for kick around use. Just pull the cubes out.

I bought this duffel last year when we relocated from California to the Midwest to take care of an elderly family member. We loaded up a 16foot truck and headed out on Route 66. This was my main bag for the trip and it worked out great. I was able to use this for in and out of motels along the way. I was somewhat careful with how to treat this bag, but realistically, I tossed it in the back of the truck several times, and even with the every day abuse of traveling this way, the bag held up wonderfully and looks brand new. As with all of the design products, this is another outstanding bag.

[ I bought this a month ago after seeing a friend with it. I 've struggled finding a work backpack that is fashionable, has the right compartments and is comfortable: THIS IS IT! Perfect amount of zippers and pouches AND TWO bottle holders on the side. The 3 way straps are KEY for easy grab and go.
