Like any clothing, the fit depends on your build, but I love the tapered style — these make my calves look like an NFL running back's. I 'm about 6' 0 '', 170 lbs, very lean — similar to VRST ambassador Devonta `` Smitty '' Smith. Please, I 'm practically begging you: offer more colors! A lighter grey, balsam green, deeper khaki, or a good shade of red — I 'd buy every one. Also, consider adding belt loops. Keep the stretchy liner at the waist, maybe tweak or remove the strings that get destroyed in the dryer, but belt loops would make it easy to tuck in a polo without looking ridiculous on the course. Love the fit, love the material, and I 'd throw even more money your way with these small updates. Thanks for considering it — I think the brand is highly competitive in this crowded space and is well- positioned to take another step forward.

Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

VRST has done it again. I have some pants made by another company that are similar to these and I would choose these over the other brand. The fabric is softer and looks more like a traditional khaki pant. These pants come with a little extra room in the hip and thigh area, so they fit nice and comfortable. The material has a slight stretch to it, so range of motion is not limited in any way. The fabric is moisture wicking so they dry quick. The pants also have UV protection which is alway a plus if you are out in the sun. Beside the main side pocket on the right side there is also a zippered pocket to keep keys safe to they do n't fall out. The back pocket also has a zipper if you are someone who keeps their wallet in their back pocket. Overall great fit and comfort. I will be buying more of these.

These pants are awesome for winter outdoor and athletic activities. They are lined and windproof, so you can wear them when it is pretty cool to cold and your legs stay warm. I have used them for golf, outdoor exercise and just outdoor chores around the house. The extra cargo pockets on the legs are great to put your phone in and they snap so your items are secure, but still easily accessible. The regular pockets all have zippers, so again, everything you put in them stays secure no matter what you are doing.

Honestly some of the best pants I have owned! The fabric is so soft, comfortable and flexible. I have worn these pants to work as a teacher as well as on the golf course. The material is thick enough to keep warm in the cold but not overheat when it ’s hot. Excellent stretch in the material while still maintaining its look.

I like comfortable and baggy. I could fit an L with a 35 waist, but usually opt for XL to be comfy. In these I ’ m glad I purchased the 2XL. Just the right bagginess to be comfy at home, skating, lounging, or running errands. Still a little short in the length for 5 ’ 11 ”, 194, but absolutely loves these and feel blessed to own the navy, khaki/tan, and the black. The hand pockets have a quality zip closure, and the cargo pockets have a nice button closure that is solid. Thermals or sleep flannel underneath in the winter are a great pair.
