So yeah, full disclosure and as I alluded to in the title, I bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother. I was just hoping that it was the nicest hoodie Nike made, and between him being thrilled with it, and my evaluation of it when I got it in the mail, that may very well be true. He wore it to the gym the day after Christmas, and sent me a text thanking me again. The material felt super nice and well constructed. Is it worth the full$ 120? Maybe not, but I had a coupon and a reward that brought it down a decent bit, and I felt it was then worth it. As for sizing, I typically go between S and M, and he's a little bigger than me and wanted an L, and it seemed to fit perfect on him, so there's that.

I 've used this jacket on longer runs in the temp ranges of 5° to 25° and it performs really well. No issues using it woth just a tee underneath. I like the material layout because it puts insulation where you need it. It has solid wind protection as well. I could see this piece used for hiking as well. For running, only issue I see is there is n't any reflective material for running in low light conditions, but is n't a show stopper.

The recent extremely cold weather events low 30's degree event was n't a fair test, but this jacket also acts as a mid/ base layer also. It this capacity it carried on perfectly. I would recommend USA size selection consider getting one size up to better compare. I normally wear a large and the conversion chart's recommendation would have basically come out as a medium( but I bought a XL so all is good).
