I bought these for my fiance( 42 male) because he wanted weightlifting gloves that were not fingerless and these were the only ones I could find, he absolutely loves them. All the padding is in the perfect places, including in each knuckle of each finger, and there are touchscreen pads on the thumb and forefinger. He normally wears a M in other gloves but wanted them to be a little tighter, so I ordered a S and they fit perfectly. He's only had them for about 2 months but they get almost daily use and are holding up well so far.

I lift weights a few days a week. Wearing gloves to protect the ligaments is a good idea. After some time without using gloves I will feel some pain in the fingers. I normally use gloves with the half finger which works great. I bought these full finger gloves to see how I liked them. After a few workouts they fit well and I think they prevent any damage to the ligaments. These are good gloves but I still prefer the half finger gloves because I still have more feeling and control of the fingers.

Dicks over price these gloves. They are$ 44 on here but on Amazon they are$ 28. I was told I could use baseball batting gloves too, but I wanted something more fitness oriented. The fingertip `` swipe pads '' I thought were a joke, until i actually used them. Bought these because they were half the price of others and I saw a ski instructor wearing a pair. Soft and supple leather. 4- 5 trips out, and totally waterproof in the slushy winter we 've had in my area. Warm? Sort of. If I was using these as work gloves, maybe. With a smartwool liner, though, kept me toasty down into the lower 20s. Quality wise looks great. The leather looks like it will hold up much better than any fabric. Overall very happy with the purchase. Wish they had some more insulation, but well- worth it for the price and hopefully durability.

The Patrol gloves feel like a toned down version of the Guide gloves that I 've used extensively. The biggest difference is the shorter gauntlet and the insulation only covering the palm, where the insulated inner runs down over the wrist into the gauntlet on the Guides. Because of those differences the mobility is a bit better with the Patrol, they 're a less bulky/more packable and are n't quite as warm as the Guides.

Pretty sure they are appropriate for the coldest weather New England has to offer. If youre going subzero, arctic, whose to say? But you ’ ll be fine skiing the east. Absolutely love these gloves for mahy reasons. Firstly, the glove has an amazing fit. While it is easy to get on with the straps to help it is a snug fit that allows me to manouever very well with them. Additionally, the gloves are not so big and padded that I ca n't do much with my hands, however, they still keep my hands warm. My only complaint would be that it is really difficult to use my phone despite the fingertip specifically meant for using the phone. Would highly recommend these gloves.

These gloves are a pair of the best gloves I 've worn, and I 've gone through a lot of gloves over the years. What stood out to me are two things; warmth and dryness. While hiking or training with search and rescue( volunteer) I often have my gloves on and off for tasks as well as taking pictures during hikes, what strikes me with these is that they feel dry and warm every time I put them back on after the task or picture!

I like this glove for winter hiking, snowshoeing, and even XC ski in cold weather... basically anything with active athletic energy level. Not warm enough for standing around ice- fishing in New England. They are very durable and well- made. Quite warm for how light they are, due to the combo of soft lining, leather palm, and waterproof synthetic shell. Lighter than a true ski glove, but more solid and weatherproof than a jogging glove. Nice middle ground.

I have the black pair and have used them twice. I 'm a truck driver that pulls tankers and I have to unload the tanker myself so that means pulling hoses and standing outside with the truck trailer for 2 to 4 hours. So far the coldest it's been but I 've unloaded it's about 13 ° and they have done really well so far. The thumb and index finger probably get the warmest, but overall the whole hand is pretty warm. It's very important. I think to turn them on in the truck first and let him get warm then go outside with them and they maintain very well. So far as winter comes it will get colder especially in the northern Nevada and we will see how that goes.

I joined the ski patrol two years ago, and have skied for about 40 years now. We typically do n't spend money on nice things for work, because they get destroyed. [ I got these especially for long winter walks with my dog. They are keeping my hands comfortable down to about 20F for an hour. I ordered them a size up( the largest, 11) so I can add another thin wool glove liner and that's pretty good down to 10F. The leather is soft, molding to my hand, showing some wear after a few weeks, so I hope it holds up over time.

I recently used these gloves on two different 11- 12 hour hikes in chilly conditions. Temps were minus 12 F with wind chill at minus 20 to minus 30 F. These kept my hands warm from start to finish. Even with a good amount of hand sweat they still performed well and the gloves didn ’ t feel damp on the inside. I highly recommend these gloves.

Haven ’ t had a chance to wear them on the mountain yet, but they are extremely thick which hopefully translates to warmth. My hands tend to be very cold, in fact my whole body probably runs colder than most, so I usually dress 10 degrees warmer than everyone else. Bought them for use with an ice axe. Sometimes you want a lighter, thinner glove that makes it easier to manipulate things in your pack, pull skins, dig pits, etc. Other days you want a glove that keeps you warm and dry when it ’s dumping and windy on the chairlift. These are those gloves. The inner liner can be pulled out to dry faster, and the long gauntlet shell keeps rain and snow where it ’s supposed to be. I supplemented the included Nikwax for better coverage and seam sealing. So far these are my favorite in- bounds gloves in years, better than the Hestras and Kincos I have used in the past.

These gloves were used on an expedition cruise to Antarctica where I did zodiac rides and hiking. They kept my hands warm in sub- freezing temps, no issue! They are bulky so you loose some dexterity, but that ’s just how it ’s going to be with these gloves. It was nice to be able to remove the GorTex outer and use the inner glove on more temperate days. Would recommend to anyone who needs a solid cold weather glove.

I got several pair of these gloves for snowboarding/skiing. They are very warm with they liners. We have only used them on days were the temps were in the 20's and we did n't need the liners. They are dry and I love the features such as the tethers and cuff cinch. They are bulky with the liners and tend to run a bit large. My 16 year old son wears the small and I can fit the medium. Overall they are a fantastic glove at a very good price.
