I am normally a size 2x tall. When I got the 2x tall they felt huge and baggy, from width of the waist to the width of the legs. I was hesitant to order an XL tall but when I got it I was happy and pleased to find that it fit just right. These sweats aren ’ t short like the original club fleece so I may order a regular( not tall) pair soon. All in all great and comfortable quality, just definitely recommend sizing down.

These pants are heavier than most of my running sweats. They are textured on the outside which makes them look dressier than standard sweats and they are very comfortable both when running and when relaxing afterwards. They are gathered at the ends of the legs using a wide stretch of material, not just a single band inside a seam which is a nice touch. The thickness of the material makes them nice on cool/cold days without their being overly hot while running. They are also not too tight or too baggy, they have a very comfortable fit. On the down side, I usually machine wash my work out gear and let them air dry( instead of using the dryer for them). Because of the texture, these pants take about twice as long to dry as my other lined sweats. Not a big deal, but thought I would mention it.

I was n't sure about the pants at first. Once i tried them on, i found that they are so comfortable and warm. They fit really well throughout the legs. I bought them a size large than usual to make sure the legs fit well that they are a little loose in the waste, but i expected that to be the case. I wear these pants all of the time and never would have 6 months ago. The biggest plus is that they actually hands 2 front pockets and 1 back pocket so i can carry my wallet, keys and phone! I really have no complaint about these pants.

I have n't had these long enough to comment on durability. I can say these are noticeably heavier/warmer than the Rival and Rival Twist fleece joggers that I have. I 'm 6' 4 '' 220 and ordered a size L. These definitely fit on the big side compared to standard sizing but are n't overly baggy like some Adidas pants that I 've had to return. Out of the box, they fit perfectly. Room in the waste that can easily be corrected with the drawstring. Length is ideal with a small fold like tailored dress pants should fit. I would guess they have around a 33- 34 '' inseam in size large. My ONLY concern is shrinkage as any shrinkage would make them too short for me, but I have not washed a pair yet. I did order 4 more pairs after trying on the first. Once these are gone, I do n't want to risk not getting another pair if my initial impression is correct. If the first shrinks, I 'll return the rest. If not, as I hope, then I own 5 pairs of the most comfortable `` sweatpants '' I have ever owned. These things are literally perfect, and so so so soft. Adidas hit a bottom of the 9th grand slam with these pants.

6' 2 '' 200lbs 34 '' waist 34 '' inseam. Ordered a size M in Cannon/Summit White, paired with a matching hoodie in size L. Both fit me great. Warm and baggy. Great color. I love the zipper pockets. The size S I also ordered( and am now returning) arrived with significantly loose stitching on the inner posterior waistband, so check the pants over when you receive them. Note: I also have the winter 2024/2025 `` Tuff Fleece '' pants in Burgundy Crush in size S, which ran BIG. This year's size M pants fit like last year's size S. This year's size L hoodie is the same size as last year's size L. Last year's Tuff Fleece pants have held up great.

I then upgraded to the Icebreaker joggers I had always wanted, which are perfect for lounging and for outdoor wear! I love mine so much that I bought these for my husband. I love these hiking trousers!! I live in the Midwest and I did not know how they would hold up in our really cold winters. They are great in the snow and wet cold. I add a layer underneath for warmth and the trousers do the rest. I tend to be hard on jeans and cargo pants but these are just as rugged and really lightweight. In addition to hiking, I do a lot of outdoor shooting and needless to say these do just fine for a day at the range. They arrived extra long, but I understand why, I washed them twice and then took them to get altered and it has been great ever since. What an amazing product!!

As for water repellence, Like the sten, it's worth having Greenland wax to put a few coats for before your adventures to add more resistance. But other than that the pants are a worthy investment for your hiking adventures!

I am a search and rescue volunteer and climbing wall instructor who spends my time in Arizona and Washington state. Working in a wide range of environmental conditions requires that my gear does the same. I ordered the large Basin pull on pants, using Mountain Hardware ’s sizing guide, and I found them to fit true to size. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the Basin Pull- On Pant while climbing and hiking in the sun and the rain. The DWR finish repels water and worked well during light rain while climbing. I also found the fabric to be surprisingly rugged while remaining breathable. My favorite feature is the rear zip pocket. I never want to risk losing my phone while climbing and the zip pocket always keeps my phone secure when I am moving on the rock. While the elastic waist with the adjustable internal draw cord took some getting used to, I have found it to be comfortable while having great range of motion and mobility. The Basin Pull- On Pants are a great all- around pant for climbing, backpacking, or spending time outdoors in a variety of conditions.

I am a rock climbing guide who guides across Colorado and Utah and its important for me to have gear that works well, is durable and looks professional. These pants are great! The sizing, though was tough. I 've previously owned the MHW Cedarberg Pull On Pant in a Large. Those pants I could barely pull over my butt. They fit the waist already but had very little stretch to pull on. This time around, I got an XL in the Basin Pull On and they are a bit too big. They do n't fall off but without the drawstring tied they are quite loose. I have a 35 '' waist and a 33 '' inseam. I wonder how a Large would fit... I enjoy this pants for climbing in as they provide a ton of movement. They fit nicely under the harness with the elastic waistband but the drawstring is a bit annoying with a harness. I am typically not a fan of `` drop in '' pockets because larger/heavier things tend to `` drop out '' but there is a zippered rear pocket which provides security for not loosing things. The straight leg design is great for movement and makes these comfy but they are tad bit too wide for my liking. Anyone who is looking for a comfortable climbing pant would be happy with these but they have less utility in the multipitch world due to the lack of thigh pockets.

I 'm a indoor climbing coach and instructor and an avid outdoor climber as well in the New England area when im climbing outside I need my pants to leave me with the ability to move and those pants knock that out of the park. These pants are fantastic. They are extremely durable and resilient against rocks and dust. On top of that the DWR finish the does an awesome job of being water resistant on rainy days and very flexible on normal dry crag days. The security pocket is a fantastic addition to all the features that the pants have to offer because when you need to take your ID with you on climbs ypu know it will be safely zipped away and not as easy to lose in the end. These pants can handle any scenario for any type of person. Great addition to my climbing gear!

As a climber, I need my pants to stretch, not bunch up under a harness and be comfortable. The Basin Pull- On Pants tick all those boxes. I love not having to try and fit a belt on with my harness, I love the weight, stretchiness, and durability of the pants, and I love that I can wear these around my house as glorified sweat pants. These pants are almost perfect. My only critique of these wonderous pantaloons is that they do n't have a zipper. If I 'm going to be wearing a pair of pants under a harness all day, as I often do, then I want an easier way to `` relieve myself '' than awkwardly wiggling my waistband from under my harness. I know this is a little picky, but I still love these pants and still give them 5 stars. Also, I 'm 5' 9 '' 165lbs. and the Mediums fit great.

[ I was really surprised how warm these kept my legs! Wear these over jeans or thermals and have n't been cold at all, and it was- 10 today. Pros: Fit, style and detail is superb!
