The dedicated laptop section is an improvement. Evening out the bag by enabling the main body lid to hold more is a plus. I prefer the extended yoke in the shoulder straps, being fairly thick in the chest from a life of PT. The enlarged bottle sleeve is appreciated, however my OCD needs one on the opposite side to balance it out/look uniform.

In an attempt to try one- bag traveling, I went on a search for a versatile pack that can be carried on a flight and is easy to walk around with for a while in a city. I ’ m a recovering over- packer. What I ’ ve found is that this pack fits everything you need as long as you can do laundry. I can very comfortably fit about 7 outfits( mostly packable clothing), undergarments for 7 days, 2 pairs of pajamas, sandals, and a pair of tennis shoes. Not to mention, all of my necessary toiletries fit, I can throw my laptop in the dedicated sleeve, and have my reusable water bottle in the side pocket. And that ’s just the main pack. What really sold me on this pack is the detachable sling bag. When flying, I put the main bag overhead and have the sling bag under the seat in front of me. This allows me to have all my necessities( headphones, chargers, etc) easily accessible without compromising my leg room like a regular sized backpack might.

Had this a couple of months and just took my first trip. I bought a pair of ski boots and checked them with my luggage. On my return trip I was worried they would get banged up so a light bulb went off. Could I possibly fit two huge size twelve ski boots in my Peak design. Holy crap. They fit like a glove. As if they were designed for the bag. Bonus, I said hmmmm. I wonder if I can use the straps to tie my helmet to the outside. boom works perfectly. And I also put my tech bag, lap top, iPad, kindle, head phones, goggles, etc in the bag and I need even need to expand to 45 liters. I also bought the sling bag which I carry in the bag and use as a day pack, it takes up zero room in the bag. Oh and I am still finding little compartments I did n't know where there. THERE IS NOT OTHER BAG ON THE MARKET AS GOOD AS THIS. Oh, I know I am a bag junky and I own all the others as well.

I used it on a recent trip and it is really the best of all worlds; the durability and stability of a hard- shell case with the flexibility to pack lightly and keep the duffel in its slim profile OR truly expand it and max it out( it can fit a lot, much more than I 'd need for a weeklong stay). Plus, tons of convenient outer pockets which I love for last- minute items, gifts, or things I 'd like to keep close at hand. It's also surprisingly lightweight, and I love that it can zip down almost completely flat for storage at home AND especially for putting away/out of sight in a small hotel room. Love this bag and will use it for years to come.

Nice travel bag, rollers are smooth and overall weight is feather — light. Its two level depth design is really convenient for travel as it could fit in overhead bin if not expanded. I received this product free from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest feedback. I travel a lot for work and for pleasure and this rolling duffle bag is perfect for me and my needs. I love that it has a hard shell on the backside of the bag so it can be laid down to pack easily. It also has fold out metal legs on the inside that help to support the bottom of the duffle bag so it will stand up on its own when it is packed. A secure garment strap on the inside will help keep those dress pants from being too wrinkled and multiple pockets for all the other items you need to bring with you. It even has expansion straps to help secure and support the bag. The handle glides smoothly up and down and the wheels are nice and heavy duty to withstand whatever obstacles you have to pass. This bag is perfect for casual trips like camping or vacation trips, and it can even be used for long business trips. The bag is very sleek and classy looking. It can be used in any situation and for as little or as much clothing as you need. Just for reference, I put an entire oversized king comforter bedding set inside this duffle bag and still was able to zip it up easily. This bag can really hold a lot of clothes. I will be using this bag for a lot of my trips. Excellent quality and design.

We 've been looking to replace 2 rolling duffels for two years and finally found the best ones ever!! I 'm not sure if he's never actually went into production or what happened, but I regularly study the site and never saw them until they were on clearance. It appears they did n't actually go into production, but I could certainly be wrong. They 're spacious, sturdy, have solid Away rolling wheels, under an absolutely fantastic size. LOVE THEM!!

I travel for work with a 2 bag system and basically live out of this bag and a backpack for my laptop etc for a couple weeks at a time every month. It ’s just the right amount of space for me and let me tell you it is rugged. I ’ m not easy on this bag and it looks brand new after months of weekly use. I ’ ve only had one issue where I lost a strap and even though I was at fault customer support took care of me and got a new one right out. I honestly can not say enough good things about this product, the CS I received, and this company as a whole. Great gear and people!

Bought it 2 years ago and it's holding beautifully. Handles have developed some patina but a lot of the bag looks like new. Main compartment zipper is reinforced and does not het floppy/wrinkly, making zipping/unzipping easier and getting into the bag easier. Plenty of compartments and and carry styles thanks to many attachment loops for shoulder belt and handles. Handles do dig in into shoulders though if you carry heavy stuff. Also, magnets in to keep the handles together hold the handles quite poorly. But it's really all the nitpicks I can think of.

When plans were released for a travel line I was very much looking forward to seeing a product of this kind. I was not disappointed. It ’s extremely durable and I love the amount of space it has! I got the 35L for weekend travel use but combined with the packing cubes I could easily stretch to a long weekend/3- 5 days of use. The multiple carry strap configurations are an awesome feature. After 3 months, one of the side pocket zipper- pull broke off. After reaching out to Peak design they directed me to go through the warranty process. I received a brand new replacement bag within a few weeks. It was a pretty seamless process. Overall the bag is fantastic. Love all the pockets and carrying versatility. The one critique would be that the magnets in the Handel are too weak. I highly recommend travel duffel.

I did a lotttt of research before buying this. It's my first suitcase style pack, meaning it zips open wide. I travel a lot, carry a lot of camera gear, and always my laptop and a bunch of electronics, and it all has to fit as a personal item under my seat. I had read this would only fit a 15 '' laptop, but it accommodates my 16 '' MBP with no problem. I had read suitcase style backpacks are boring when you need to quickly stuff something inside or take something out, but if you arrange the zipper correctly, you can also do that here. Now I have the perfect pack which fits everything I need, but I do n't have to dig to the bottom blindly to grab something, or take everything out to reach the bottom items. And the color makes me feel sharp.

I watched and read a lot of reviews looking for a well made, sturdy, compact travel pack to use for international travel. I need to carry on electronics, overnight clothes, personal and travel items with easy access to each. Love the separate lined and padded laptop sleeve. Love the top front compartments to separate on board electronics and personal identification items needed at airports. Loving the separated visible net clamshell for packing so wo n't have to dig through packing cubes to locate what is needed. Picked the bronze color as it's unusual and unique and easy to spot. Waterproof shell will be a good thing should rain be predicted on a hike. I will be traveling light for the most part with this pack and a carry on which allows instant access on flights. So far I am very happy with my decision and look forward to trying it out very soon.
