I thought, why not use a legging as my baselayer and then if I need to strip off, I am not hiking through bramble in my woolies? I was worried as there is no drawstring at the waist, I wondered if the weight of my phone in the side pocket would pull the pants down over time. The good news is that the pants stay up very well. They are very breathable and I consider they will make great warm weather bottoms. The ankle opening is quite narrow- put your socks on after! True to the sizing guide.

I was provided this model of Ferrosi Hybrid leggings to replace a previous pair( the warranty issue was such a complete fluke that really, I should have bought a lottery ticket because the chances of it happening in another pair of leggings would be next to impossible). So A. GREAT work OR for standing behind your products and B. They were replaced by a newer model. Turns out, this is a super cute legging. I love the pockets- they are placed well, good size, extremely functional. I am not sure if I am entirely sold on the two tone black color. To keep it simple, these gaiters are rugged, fit an incredibly wide range of shoes, and do a really good job at keeping debris, snow, and other junk of of boots. I at first bought a size small and they fit me like a glove, then returned for a medium so that I could wear them on top of my bottom layers for the day. The medium fit well with jeans and thermals under. The bottom of the pants have an elastic to go around your boot to keep snow from getting in your pants and boots and that seemed to hold up well despite me trucking along in several feet of snow.

[ I have always loved Columbia as a brand for sports and work. This pair of Ski pants are just amazing. I love it has some velcro inside the waist level to adjust the fit you just want. I bought a size small because the medium was quite big. In cm, I am between 65- 70cm in waist and hips 100- 105cm. Fitted great, a bit tight at the beginning but with use got loose. You can expand the lower leg to fit your ski boots and your moon boots or chunky boots. This is just great. I use it with the Ava Jacket and amazing. Thank you!!!

I have awkward measurements, pear shaped and honestly have tried on all the hiking brands. This pair is just right. The waistband is flattering and comfortable, length is fine too. I 'm 5 ft 3 tall and 158lbs currently. Medium was just right and I can even wear a thin layer underneath for cooler hikes.

Currently using these on the AT. They are lightweight, dry fast, sit comfortably under my hip belt, and have a nice stretch. The cinch at the bottom is nice for hiking them up during hot days. My only complaints are the pockets could be a little bigger/deeper, and there should be more colors. I am 5' 4 '', 150#, and have square hips and a flatter butt, usually wear between a size 6 and 8 in pants. Size small fits perfectly in these.

These pants are awesome. I ordered a large and then a medium because the sizing does seem to run on the larger side. I was comfortable in both, but ultimately decided to keep the medium. I usually am a size 10, athletic build, and I am 5'10. There was just too much extra fabric in the front and hip region in the large. I had a pair of these about 5 years ago when I walked the Camino in Spain. After walking, I backpackad throughout Europe for the next 12 months. These were my only pants. They are durable, lightweight, breathable, dry fast and I loved them for all of that plus the zippered pocket that kept my wallet and passport safe in Paris when two friends had theirs stolen. The majority of the time I hand washed them since an actual washing machine was wishful thinking. Fortunately, they do n't hold onto sweat and stink like some man- made fabrics so a sink, some warm water, a little bit of soap, and some elbow grease kept me from being too socially unacceptable. Did they pill? Yes, between the thighs. So what. The zippers held, no seams unraveled, the front button did n't pop when I first wore them and was too fat for them and the drawstring was a lifesaver when they were too loose when I finished. Ladies, these are a perfect pant. I just bought a new pair. It's the right time. Adventure awaits!

Love these. I have two pairs in different colors. I get many compliments on them while hiking. They are comfortable and the waist height is perfect. Love the side zipper pocket AND the back zipper pocket. For sizing, I am 5' 4 '' and a muscular 130 pounds, and the size 4 fits me well. I skidded on my side about 8 feet after crashing a dirtbike going way faster than I had any right to, and the pants look new. I 've had several pairs of rain pants from other manufacturers over the years and these are the best so far. They do n't restrict my leg movements, do n't leak, and are easy to get on and off. The rise is high, so you have good overlap with your top and the waist drawstring seems sturdy enough, although I pair them with suspenders also. Rain and wet brush are expected if you are outside much of the year here in the PNW, so you need some good rain pants.

My issue is n't with the pants which are great, BUT with the sizing chart- I am 6' 3 '' and 36 '' waist and a large size works for me but I have an 34 '' inseam and the chart recommendation is to get a tall size however I think regular would have been much better. The pant legs bunch up at the bottom when I have mid waterproof hiking shoes on. The OR pro deal is great but unfortunately they do n't allow exchanges or returns. I purchased these for a trip to Finland next January. I love the fit and feel of these pants, They are lightweight and stretchy, which will allow for ease of movement. Also, for traveling, they fit into a small packing cube. I think they will be excellent as a midlayer in Finland's winter temperatures. I ordered the pants and jacket to replace some old faithful ones that have been reliable for years. I 've always been happy with the Helium line for backpacking. Although I would n't call them super durable thats not really what they are meant for. I use them as the lightweight layer to keep rain off on the occasional rain during backpacking trips or light rain.
