Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

Does not pull with sitting and I can tell they are already relaxing with wear, so I am happy I did size down. [ I got these for my last camping trip to Dougan Falls in southern Washington and they were excellent. They fit slim, especially in the thigh/upper leg but I did n't find that they restricted movement at all. I used the sizing table to figure out what my regular size was and the conversion worked fine. I look forward to testing them on longer hikes and in more inclement weather soon!
