Great pants! They are soft, comfortable, and stylish. I believe they are ideal for the gym. A bit expensive for pants but is pretty worth it. The pants do run big, however, both width and length. I am 5 ’ 7 and bought my first in a size S and my second in a size XS. The XS was a better fit; so size down if you are on the smaller side( unless you ’ re looking for a real baggy fit).

Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

VRST has done it again. I have some pants made by another company that are similar to these and I would choose these over the other brand. The fabric is softer and looks more like a traditional khaki pant. These pants come with a little extra room in the hip and thigh area, so they fit nice and comfortable. The material has a slight stretch to it, so range of motion is not limited in any way. The fabric is moisture wicking so they dry quick. The pants also have UV protection which is alway a plus if you are out in the sun. Beside the main side pocket on the right side there is also a zippered pocket to keep keys safe to they do n't fall out. The back pocket also has a zipper if you are someone who keeps their wallet in their back pocket. Overall great fit and comfort. I will be buying more of these.

I ’ m a huge fan of Simms clothing and these pants are great. They fit me well and are extremely comfortable. I use them mostly for sun protection( as opposed to shorts) flats fishing and on the trout streams inn wet wading season.

Just got these and they feel fantastic! They seem to run a little big. Older Free Fly pants have fit well at 36x34. These in a 36x32 are a little big in the waist and spot on for length! Only thing I 'd like to see changed is deeper front pockets as my iPhone 16 hangs out a bit.

Bought these on sale when I was picking up something else. Needed a black pair of pants so it worked out. Was pleased with the fit and stretch on these. Waistband is nice and tall which is nice. Perfect pant for the gym or hiking. I 'd say the fit is slightly small but mostly good. I usually go between L and XL, with these the XL fits perfect.

I was impressed at how stretchy these pants were for how sturdy they were! I had long- johns on under and was super warm up in mid- 30's wet snow and was impressed with how quick they dried off. I do n't like reviews that say `` love these '' or some such, since it tells me very little. So... I am 5' 2 and weigh 152 pounds. My inseam is usually 28 inches, no more than 29. I ordered the large and they were perfect in length, landing right at my ankles with a little sag for give in the knees, and for squatting. I have a bit of a straight waist that is short- the waist band is about a 2 inch band that did NOT roll over or down and did not bind so the waist was just right. Fit perfect in the hips, and I have a butt so they stretched without gapping or sagging down in the back. I washed them in warm water, rinsed in cold and hung them up to dry. Dried quickly. They were warm without being hot, did not bunch in the crotch, and I had on jeans over them. Worked outside on the farm and stayed cozy. Went back and bought two more pairs.

`` Heavyweight '' is a little misleading. The fabric is very thin and see- through. On their own, they do n't feel very warm, but worn under jeans or other pants as intended, they function very well. I forget I 'm even wearing them under jeans, and they keep me very warm on cold mornings. A good comfortable base layer. Got the M and they fit great. I 'm usually a 6- 8 in pant size.
