This is a great hoody, and will be perfect for cool fishing mornings! The inside fleece is super soft and the outer material feels durable. I own many Patagonia jackets, all in size M, but the M was too small for this one, specifically in my broad gymnast shoulders& arms. I sized up to a L for a much better fit. I get hot very easily. Harder for me to properly ventilate while outdoors in the colder seasons. This hoodie( while thinner than my fleece) kept me comfortable without getting hot and when going indoors did n't overheat me. I have yet to find a hoodie that compares. It's durable( my cat clawed it and there's no holes or snags) and there's no pilling. It's soft, sturdy and longer than most which I absolutely love. This is my new favorite patagonia piece

I bought this in Tigerlily Orange on sale to use as a casual jacket for spring/summer, particularly when it's cooler out in the evenings. I ordered my usual size M and I love the way it fits- it's a bit oversized/boxy throughout the body but in a good way. I love that it has a hood and that it's got a DWR finish so I do n't have to worry if I get caught in the rain while walking to work. The color is not as saturated as shown in the pics. I 'd describe it as more of a softer creamsicle color rather than a tigerlily orange. But I still love it. I think it's a great value for the sale price I paid of$ 118. Nothing against the jacket but not sure I 'd pay full price of$ 199 for it.

Caw954s
Yes, this jacket is lightweight, but that ’s what I needed! I bought it to stuff into my bike bag. It can be stuffed into the smallest space, yet pops out wrinkle free. It ’s great as a windbreaker, and as layered clothing. It has no hand pockets, but there is a zippered pocket in the chest. I ’ m normally a large, but in this jacket the XL fits best.
5
WA Grammy
This is a simple, very lightweight windbreaker, that packs into its pocket. It's somewhat water resistant, and dries quickly, but not waterproof. It's in my backpack for every hike, and my carryon whenever I travel. It weighs almost nothing and when it's in it's pocket turned carry pouch, it's about the size of a 3 x 5 card and about an 1 '' thick. It even fits in a purse, a fanny pack, and many hydration packs. I always have one on my boats, whether sailing or rowing/kayaking and have been glad to have it hold in my body heat on a chilly airplane, or as a paper thin layer for skiing, both downhill and crosscountry. Worn as a mid- layer it makes a fleece slip on effortlessly. One of the most versatile pieces I own. I have both hooded jacket, and a no longer available pullover.

With all the rain that we have been having, I needed a versatile fall windbreaker and rain jacket that I could wear for running and just being outside. I love Patagonia products and initially purchased the Houdini, but felt it was too thin and not quite as durable. I am so happy with this product in terms of quality, versatility, and color. Highly recommend. In terms of sizing, I went with a medium to be able to wear a layer under it, but would have gone small if I didn ’ t want to have room for one. For reference I am about 5 ’ 10 ” and slender.
