When I tried it on with a sweatshirt underneath, the sleeves of the extra small were a touch tight when bending my elbows, but I think it will break in just fine. Great jacket, hope this can help folks with sizing. Did n't have any trouble with the zipper the way other people have described, it's a big metal double zipper and takes a little effort but nothing crazy.

[ I could n't wait to wear this jacket once the weather got cooler in Texas. The weather can be bipolar very often, so if it's 35 degrees outside at the beginning of the day and hot later, I like the fact that I can carry a lightweight jacket around and stuff it in my backpack when I 'm not wearing it. Unlike some puff jackets, they can be very heavy and bulky. The jacket is ideal for 35+ degree weather or a little under if you layer well underneath. Also, keep in mind my 35- degree weather may feel warmer to others who live in areas that get lots of snow and wind. I have n't had the chance to wash it, but the material seems like it will hold up well in a normal wash cycle. I think I may have needed to go to a smaller size, I had plenty of space in the jacket zipped.

Great winter weather coat. Solid zipper, comfortable good. High quality. Fit is full/relaxed but still looks modern, not going to make you look like a marshmallow. Length is not cropped but not long, hits well at the hips.

I had a little trouble figuring out the zipper- they use a european zipper so its the opposite side that I 'm used to, and i think it was also a little jammed when it first came. After figuring that out i love it! Great weight, simple style, super warm

I have had this jacket for at least 2 years and it has held up well. I wear it throughout the year: at work( in the hospital), camping and just out and about. I wash it regularly and hang it up to dry. It still looks great with very minimal pilling. I would get another in a different color. I agree that it could be less itchy but I am not bothered by it. I have worn it layered under another jacket as well. For me, this is a great layering piece.

Material is heavy and I think it will soften perfectly with time and washes. Zipper is high quality and the lining adds a nice amount of warmth without feeling bulky. I typically wear a small and although this cut is roomy it does n't feel boxy and fits well in the arms and shoulders. The best part is all the functional pockets!
