Some reviews mentioned sizing down, and since my other Prana Halle shorts in size 8 fit me a little snug now, I stuck with ordering a size 8 and am very happy I did. They are a comfortable fit and relax a tad as you wear them. You do n't feel restricted in them at all. They are perfect for hiking or to wear around all day.

I bought these before leaving to travel for 8 months. These shorts( and a pair of Prana pants) are my favorite bottoms to wear and I have worn them in 12 countries( and counting), so they have had a LOT of wear. They are great for hiking, sight- seeing, and everyday use. I was worried about ordering them online without having the chance to try them on. However, their fit is great. I was also disappointed that when I ordered them the only color in my size was Earthtone. However, I am actually happy with the color and think it looks better in person. I have hand washed them, line dried, machine washed, and machine dried. They dry quickly, have a bit of stretch( which is great for being active), and did n't show the massive amounts of sweat in hot, humid climates. Honestly, these shorts have paid for themselves. I have also received many compliments about this pair of shorts.

This is one of those rare clothing items that seems perfect in every way and someday I am sure I will be complaining to someone who does not care that they no longer make my favorite shorts. They are comfortable, have just the right number of pockets, and look great. They also have been very durable for me. I have worn them for work, hiking, camping, and more. I normally wear a 29 or 30 inch waist, but do a 28 in these as the stretch material comfortable accommodates me without feeling restrictive. I love that they do have a cinch strap, though, which can be used in place of a belt for a snug fit.

[ I 've worn Prana Stretch Zion Shorts( and pants) for several years and they are now the only shorts in my wardrobe. You 'll never need a different type of shorts- Stretch Zions are durable, good- looking, very comfortable and mobile, they fit incredibly with the adjustable waist strap, they have an enormous carrying capacity( you can carry whole water bottles in the pockets) and they 're even somewhat hydrophobic to protect against the occasional spill! A great, reliable choice for almost any shorts- wearing scenario.

They look nice enough to teach in, durable and breathable enough to bike/climb/hike in, and move well enough to workout in.
