[ I was at Pack Rat in Fayetteville Ar. when I found this butt pack, due to the heat around this place while mountain biking I figured for the summer time I would put away my Osprey ruck. Got online ordered one and I give it 5 stars. Holds my first aid kit and some snacks along with other small items and 2 water bottles. I 've had it to Kessler mt and Slaughter Pen for some 15 mi rides. This will be my go to spring through fall. The balance is good on the tech trails, never know it's there. As advertised, this bag is truly a hybrid. I carry for nine, use my BagBoy Quad XL when walking eighteen, and also sometimes ride. The detachable straps are a nice feature when not carrying. The handles are excellent, as are the wells for the driver and putter. The rainhood attaches simply and is effective and roomy. I like the drink holder location as it does n't bang on my leg when carrying. The bag is light for carrying, especially given the individual dividers. The valuables pouch is roomy and easily accessible. I love the top- lock for my Quad XL hand cart. When riding, the base fits very nicely on the back of a riding cart( not all stand bags do). The only very minor complaint I have is the bag does n't stand upright on its own without the legs extended, for example, when storing it in my garage, I have to lean it against the wall. I very rarely write reviews, but I am truly jazzed about this bag. It's everything I was looking for, and at a very reasonable price.

[ This is my sixth(?) Camelbak pack so I am a big fan. Being not on the skinny side, I wanted a waist pack that did not fall off the waist on gnarly terrain. Purchased this for a trip to Memphis where did not want to take a large wristlet, backpack, or purse and it worked out perfectly. Was able to fit full sized wallet and phone and still room for other personal items. Like that there is an outside zippered compartment as well as the zippered main compartment. By expanding the strap to full length, I was able to wear as a sling body bag.
