For reference: I am 5 ’ 5 ” 145lbs, thin athletic build wearing a small. I have wide hips and muscular thighs with a small waist, so finding shorts that fit is difficult. This summer, I set out to find better shorts for my body type and tried on basically every short style from every major brand. I like Lululemon ’s Track That 3 ” shorts, but the colors are limited. These shorts are my absolute favorite! They are flowy enough in the legs that they don ’ t ride up or chafe during long runs, and they are comfortable enough for everyday wear/lifting. As a bonus, they are reasonably priced! I scored several pairs on clearance and will come back looking for more colors as they release!

It ’s so hard to find longer bike shorts( for those of us with thick thighs) that have pockets, do not cause sausage leg, and don ’ t roll at the waist while still giving some tummy control. I bought a pair of these to replace my favorite Prana shorts with a similar cut that I bought about 7/8 years ago( they ’ ve lasted a long time, very quality product). These shorts are perfect! Lightweight, breathable, comfortable and super cute! I plan to wear them as bathing suit bottoms with my favorite Prana swim/yoga top. They don ’ t have a liner, but I ’ ll just wear with lightweight microfiber underwear and I think I ’ ll be fine. Highly recommend! I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ” and 101 lbs and got a small.
